It's phenomenal I love it. I always play in bed at night and it's so soothing it's like im unlocking memories from years and years ago. The nostalgia is not even bait it's just giving you extra time to indulge in the world.

Stuff I don't like;
- It's still linear after 20 hours in the game I'm noticing it's still the original game just using modern graphics.
- The graphics are overall not that great, for example the rubbish tip in the backgrounds the textures look really shit. Also things like the background when looking down from the Plate it looks like a fucking low res bitmap from 1983, like wtf is going on? The thing im noticing about games like this the facial emotion is retarded and it's just puppets talking.
I think once they nail facial emotional system it'll be ok to play games like these walking simulators, but again this was an originally PS game so maybe that's the reason.
- Combat is a bit convoluted, way too much switching between characters and messes up, it's taking me a while to understand it, the basic mechanics are there but do you guys just switch to another character as soon as the ATB guage is used up?
- Staggering, I still don't quite understand it, just go ham I guess once they are staggered?


Overall though I give the game 9/10 it's such a memory to go back and explore it in an updated take on it.

You issue command, then immediately press the button to switch to the next character, build up the ATB and issue command and move the the 3rd character. The characters suck at gaining ATB and doing anything actually useful on their own so you are expected to build their ATB and issue the command, then switch to the next one.

On PS you can do the character switch with single press on direct buttons on the left.

Use Assess to see what pressures the enemy to efficiently stagger it. Like for example the birds in Rebirth get pressured if you dodge or perfect parry their attack.

I don't like how you can't really grind and play the game in Intergrade. The only way to you can engage with games system and combat is doing main missions. Does the game open when you beat it and you can select the chapters or what?
