It's insane how much Fox poisoned the well for the entire platform fighter genre and its developers.
Meanwhile, hardly a blip on the radar for the casual mascot (arguably Kirby, because of Down B spam), or the characters people actually bought Smash for initially (Mario, Pikachu, Link...).
