I wasn't able to tell which FromSoft game it was based on what the player character was able to do, because I swear at one point I whipped out the Nikita missile launcher from MGS1. But I'm going to guess it was supposed to be Elden Ring.I do remember that it was some sort of temple-city overgrown with vegetation, where the inhabitants were turning into what looked like dinosaur-men, to varying degrees. Some were entirely dinosaur. The ones who hadn't turned into a form that was favorable wore large, cage-like helmets, and were confined to the lower districts where they fought for survival until they were abducted by the stronger dinosaur-people who were the hand of the spiritualist upper caste - most likely for some sort of ritual sacrifice, it wasn't clear.The whole city was trapped. The lower district was a hellhole full of every type of trap you could imagine: tripwires, dart traps, pits full of sharpened stakes, swinging logs studded with obsidian, attention-whores on /b/. I died dismembered, impaled, poisons, eaten alive. After progressing past the first two bosses, the traps subtly changed. The earlier ones were makeshift traps built by the dinosaur-men fighting for their lives, these were built into the city itself. My intuition was that they had been built before whoever the dinosaur-men once were arrived.I remember finally making it into what I'll call the temple district after fighting another boss: a group of the more advanced dinosaur-men who tried to turn their captives against me - unsuccessfully. It was complete chaos, I couldn't tell who was fighting who but I beat it without much difficulty.(1/2), I guess

While I was making my way across one, harried by giant bat-serpents that descended from the ceiling, I saw an NPC whom I'd met earlier fighting for his life against something I couldn't comprehend in the dream. Whatever it was, he accepted that he was doomed and cut the ropes of the bridge while retreating, so he'd at least take the thing down with him. No, he didn't say, "Forgive me..." when he died.There was a massive pyre on the other end of the bridge, casting innumerable saurian shadows against the face of an enormous stone gate. I tried and failed to find a way around whatever was happening, and died two or three times before I remembered what I'd just seen the NPC do. So with dozens of dinosaur-men chasing me back across the bridge, I cut the ropes - and watched them fall into the chasm below. With both bridges destroyed, I was forced to find another way into the upper city by descending deeper, using the bridge as a makeshift ladder like you do in DS3.That's all I really remember. I don't know why I wrote all this. Just for fun, I guess. The thing that was most interesting to me wasn't what I recalled here, but the fact that it was fucking BULLSHIT the entire time. It wasn't just the traps, I kept dying to stupid shit that happens in FromSoft games, like AoE attacks hitting me over walls or getting knocked off of ledges and dying to fall damage. It was like Shulva from DS2, but ten times more annoying.
I still remember parts of dreams i had about gta5 before it came out. I dreamt of flying a jet through massive desert canyons. I dreamt of flying over the map extremely high up and it was this massive flat expance with canyons and different towns spaced out connected by highways with tall mountains along the perimeter. Oddly enough just cause 4 was closest to realize this dream.
