There isn't really one IMO playstation never had a single big title marketing campaign for an FPS, but still had many FPS games. The controller too made all the hardcore console FPS gamers choose xbox instead because it was easier to play FPS with.

>>732296964NTA. The PS2 controller was fine for FPS games. There just weren't many big heavy hitters on the console. The later Ratchet games are testament to it being fine for shooters. Plus there were COD and Medal of Honor games, Battlefield, several James Bond games, etc. etc.
