>>732293848Banjo has never been that great. For a platformer you really don't do much platforming besides segments like in Click Clock Wood's giant tree. Banjo has always been slow and sort of clunky so the platforming was basic and weak. And collecting stuff doesn't feel fun when its so sluggish.And it doesn't help its Kazooie who does the real work. She's the one who gets the neat abilities like flying.

I admittedly bought Hogwarts Legacy as a result of the outcry, moreso because the outcry side bullied Pikamee off the internet for a couple of months, so I'm happy to a certain degree it broke sales records to thumb the opposition's eyes, but in all honesty, I only played up to around the point of the first town, before realizing I wasn't digging the gameplay much and hopping over to other games that came out.
