Even in his better scenes, the show's House comes across more paranoid than calculating. It's a different characterization, completely.

But the actual writers/directors have no malice towards Fallout and the rivalry with the older games. Most of those people are on average millennials in their 30's, which coincides with a lack of life experience and appreciation of literature.
