A comparison of unpatched versus basic patch (after only 30 minutes of playtime):Collection of things different from Unofficial Patch and unpatched versions of the game:1) UP completely changes which histories are available to each clan. Certain histories that take away points in various abilities may cause the player to lose that ability entirely if clicking on the first dot (the game will "refund" a non-existent cost and then remove it from the sheet) and prohibits the player from ever reaching 5 in said ability.2) As previously mentioned by others, UP adds a visual decapitation during the intro. Unpatched cuts the camera to view Velvet's reaction.3) The bum immediately outside of your haven doesn't speak with you automatically when leaving the building for the first time.4) Trip's position in his shop is further away from the window, and his first dialogue is no longer "Uh, h-hey..." It instead is his follow-up dialogue to you asking "What?"5) The police on the other side of the bars near the stairs heading down to the pier aren't present in the unpatched version. This also means their dialogue is also not there.6) The arcade on the pier doesn't even have a bathroom door that can't be interacted with like in the UP. In UP+, that door is removed to show a further back portion of the arcade, which means Wesp added a door in UP to block an area he created in UP+.7) Unless I'm mistaken, Wesp removed lightning from normal weather effects in UP.8) The wooden stake underneath the pier is closer to the fence and hidden by the surf unpatched. UP moves it to a much more visible location.9) In case it wasn't obvious, the video game sound effects ("FIYA SPEEN") in the beach house aren't present in unpatched.
