Holy shit I finally figured it out, sort of. Been wanting to slide into a crouch from sprint like RotR? It's sprint, low (or ninja) stance, dodge forward twice, on second dodge press crouch and you'll go into slide, let go of stick or you'll keep sprinting. I can't do it in medium or high stance, the double dodge gives you a roll forward.

I just finished up the demo and I think it's fine and fun by virtue of just being more Nioh but when I think about it I don't actually like any of the stuff that's new to 3 at all. I simply do not understand the samurai/ninja split, it seems to exclusively cut down content that was good and fun in the previous games while adding nothing new at all and making using the shit I'm used to more obnoxious, the onmyou changes make no sense and I don't like the open map or any of the new enemy designs.

I got a weird bug earlier, I was swapping between Ninja and Samurai near a ledge (dunno if that's relevant) while just running around, and the Ninja movement animations applied to the Samurai form for some reason. They went back to normal after swapping again.
