I like this pokemon, but I never have a reason to use it in a playthrough.
Any pokemon that make you feel this way?

I used a lumineon in USM, was surprisingly my most consistently useful party member
I have a lot of those kinds of mons though. Octillery, girafarig, maractus, those kinds of secondary mons. I even like noivern a lot but I'm not sure I've ever actually used one.

i'd say tinkaton, sometimes, mainly on part of its weirdly low attack (why the fuck is it lower than the lawn flamingo, i wonder)
>>
>>732319690
Because its gimmick is supposed to be that it has low attack, but it can use its big fuck hammer to hit for 160bp
>>
>>732316564
This was the last Pokemon I needed to complete my Platinum Sinnoh dex.

Good typing can't save it from those stats. Damn Hoenn and slow mixed attackers...
>>
>>732316564
needing the good rod to catch finneon is retarded. by time you get it, you can already have shellos, buizel, vaporeon or gyarados. and around the same time you do get it, you can go get a marill or quagsire that are also better
>>
I used it in brilliant diamond
It was pretty shit but it handled pretty much everything I needed it to except Cynthia's Garchomp
>>
On my last run of star emerald I ran an Azurill for fun, a pokemon I've otherwise never looked at. Hey guess what they fucking rock.

I'm tired, boss man
>>
>>732320609
This is the first game I've played with fairy. Seems OP desu

Post your dream teams
>>
>>732320714
Fair enough. You'd be correct
>>
>>732320714
Anytime gamefreak adds a type, it's always overtuned because it was an overreaction to a previously powerful type.
>make psychic good against poison since that type was half the roster
>make dark immune and steel resistant to psychic, thereby making the type mediocre
>make fairy immune to dragon because of how many dragons were running around with draco gems
Fairy should've just been resistant to dragons and maybe weak to bug.
>>
>>732321065
Fairy should be weak to bug and normal
>>
>>732316564
Lumineon can be alright early on in sun/moon
It really deserves an evo though
>>
>>732316564
Pokemon is so forgotten its remembered for being so forgotten. So who is in fact the most forgotten mon now?
>>
>>732320738
I genuinely can't tell if this is a pervert team or not

If the teraleaks are accurate, you'll be able to light up underwater caves with a lumineon in gen 10. Pretty random pokemon to do it with, so it makes me think it could get an evo.
>>

>Simipour
I accept this answer.
>>
>>732321065
Dragons were really cool in the early gens as tanky boss monsters. Then in gen 4 they ruined them by adding shit like draco meteor which made them way OP
>>
>>732316564
If liking it is not enough reason to use it then you're playing Pokemon wrong.

you say that but there's a simipour thread up on /vp/ at this very moment

I really like Simipour, probably the best of the Elemental Monkeys. Really wish it didn't take forever to level up, though.

Why does she have a losing matchup against Corviknight despite canonically being a Corviknight killer?
>>
>>732321764
By the time you get a finneon, you would already have a water type, use water type moves or have other moves that also deal with types that water deals with.

There are four separate realities when it comes to pokemon.
>in-game reality
>pokedex reality
>anime reality
>competitive reality
Some of these can cross over to others, but the logic of one shouldn't be used to make sense of the others.

I'll pretty much give any pokemon a shot. I'm working on a team for the gen 3 battle frontier now and I just finally settled on my first member, I'm gonna use a Raticate since even though it isn't the most powerful combining guts and facade sounds really fun.
>>
>>732323076
neat picks but god i didnt know that hideous gen 5 swampert subsitute had fans. it's so grotesque i don't know if it's intentional or not
>>
>>732323326
It's literally top 5 for me
