Jae being able to fulfill 6 of the skill checks without even trying is why I bring her. She ended up having more tech-use than my Pasqal who actually levelled it.
Besides, theres a certain point around act 2 where you get so powerful that you can easily one turn combat with an officer heroic act and someone else, so having someone that can do skill checks easily ends up being very beneficial.
