Imagine how much better every open world game would be if they got rid of waypoints and quest markers

>>732329817This could be resolved by designing the cities in such a way that each area is memorable and distinct. Obviously, you couldn’t remove waypoints from GTA V and have the game work, but it COULD work if the city was designed around not having a waypoint.
I played unguided in the AC games, and it gets tiring. The only thing you do is open your map, look around where it is, drop waypoint and head towards it.
