Wow, what a major disappointment.This looks lower budget than the original game... which was already a budget fucking Vita game.I don't mind sidescrolling dungeons, it could potentially have better level design than empty 3D hallways, but the entire game is in sideways view so no more cool city maps to explore.Also, Kyoto... lol, either they should go back to fantasy roots like original Xanadu or stick with the city slicker shit, this is such a weird in-between that it just looks boring and unappealing.

2nd time in a row where they basically use these Nu-Xanadu titles as a tech demo for the next Ys, don't be surprised if XI or whatever now has 2D sections and a new cell shaded look.
From what I remembered TX's combat and dungeons weren't particularly good. Making it 2D would probably make it better.
