Why does all the Horizon stuff suck so fucking bad? The setting is genuinely cool, and conceptually having traps to play with and the enemies having different parts that you attack, disrupt, or destroy mid-combat, is cool. So why is the execution of it so fucking awful? The movement isn't very satisfying. The characters are are absolutely awful. Aloy herself is extremely annoying and the surrounding NPCs of the world range from unfathomably retarded to being cunts in their own right. Something like Horizon should be a slam dunk, and yet they've failed at it multiple times over.
