Is it worth?
>>732350093It's free don't be a fag
>>732351046Yeah FREE!*
I thought it was pretty good. Enough to buy a copy to play once my Game Pass sub ends.
>>732350093It's genuinely a good game. The first act is a 10/10. Then it slows down a bit but still a great game.
Definitely a cool game and makes you feel like you're actually in a good Indiana Jones movie. I liked the treasure hunting and puzzle aspect. Never tried the DLC - any good?
>>732350093Anon got it for me for Christmas. I am about half way through it. It's enjoyable I wouldn't pay full price for it though. If you're into Indiana jones it is probably the best game he has gotten. If you're not do you like whips and uncharted style gameplay mixed with Wolfenstein? That's what it boils down to
>>732350093It was worth the $0 I paid, yes.
>>732350093It's decent but gaytracing requirement is gay and adds nothing to the game
I like the giant guy he's cool
>>732350093Yeah it's fun and if you have a non 3rd world brownoid PC it's a nice showcase of what modern hardware can do.
>>732352547>technology should never improve
>>732350093Yes, very much. Just make sure if you're planning on playing on PC that you can run it. Required raytracing is a performance destroyer. But it is a great game and I enjoyed the hell out of it.
I couldn't believe how close Troy Baker sounded to Harrison Ford.
>>732351121How is it not?
>>732350093How does the Xbox run this game at all
>>732352727>halving framerate to make everything smoky=improvement
It’s a movie game, just watch it on JewTube instead.https://youtube.com/watch?v=K8ANx8OOeTY
>>732353338Troy is really talented, but people hate on him because he used to be in every game and also the fame has kinda gotten to him. Troy is early 2010 and Troy now are two completely different people. I still like him a lot though.
>>732352727Technology for the sake of technology is dumb. If you can achieve same result with less, you should strive towards doing so, as that increases your audience and thus profit.
>>732354341Technology for the sake of technology is exactly how the field improves over time. Simulating how photons interact with solid matter is the next frontier.
>>732353725Its not a fast paced action game, so yes improving the visuals is worth the trade off.
>>732353414Dont you need to pay for something else to get this? And keep paying for that thing to keep playing this?
>>732350093I liked it Thought it was a shooter and it is but it’s also not really, very interesting game.
>>732350093What I don't understand is how does this game look and run so much better than Doom Dark Ages?
I'll play it the next time I'll get gamepass. hope it's not complete ass on the series S.
It's fine when you are exploring the ancient places, when it's trying to be psedo-"Immersive Sim" it's awful.
I think the open world makes it kinda confusing at times when you try to figure out where to go. I guess that's what the map is for, but that's kinda pain in the ass because you have to hold the map. I like the game, but I don't see myself playing it again. Fate of the Atlantis on the other hand is a total goat.
>>732350093I prefer watching the fourth movie than playing this shit
>>732350093Its the kind of meaningless bullshit game that plays itself and you never think about again. Bethesda paid HUUUUUGE money to lots of people for months after release to try and cement some kind of cultural landmark status that just would not stick. For free, play it, but it doesnt deserve a single award. Troy Baker does an alright Harrison Ford(WAOW A MUMBLING NASALLY OLD GUY, GET A LOAD OF THIS RANGE!!!!) and the boss fights are retarded
>>732358071
>>732354840>Dont you need to pay for something else to get this? And keep paying for that thing to keep playing this? No? Its on gog.
For full price, no.At about $50 it is pretty good. Game looks really nice, story feels authentically Indy, and Troy Baker knocks his performance out of the park. The negatives-Very easy, even on highest difficulty (which I recommend for first playthrough, because otherwise the AI is absolutely blind and can't hurt you even if you go AFK)-Gets repetitive. The last areas overstay the welcome as you feel like you have already done everything the game has to offer the end of Egypt. -The collectables are boring. -The reward for 100% is incredibly lame given how long it takes-Gina gets fucking annoying in the Asian map
>>732351336DLC is lame because its mostly a long sewers dungeon. Cool final boss fight though.
>>732352547I agree. I defended it being ray tracing only before launch because I thought it meant they were going to do some unique puzzles with it. Like advanced mirror puzzles or stuff that dealt with shadows. But having beaten it, nothing is there that couldn't have been done without ray tracing.
>>732354701The problem is that you lose a lot of performance for marginal improvements in reflections and ray tracing. This is happening in a world where developers have less and less incentive to optimize games, and there is a RAM shortage. So, the trade-off ends up being very lopsided in terms of cost-performance.
>saw in the direct>looks interesting>full game in cart>even more interested>first person gameMan.
