Unfortunately the game is piss easy (50 hours in on nightmare and i only had one party member die because the i burst the enemy so hard that they literally s-break'd two turns in a row. Still didn't lose the fight) and the narrative is hot garbage

Trails is the most overrated mid slop franchise to ever exist. The games are unbalanced, unpolished messes whose one saving grace is an interesting bit of world building, and never overly committing to one group of characters.Not that it matters since all the characters are just generic shallow anime tropes, which is also the backbone of the series "humor". It really just feels like if you played a couple of these games between the age of 12 to 19 you'll relentlessly defend every game in the series as a masterpiece, and if you didn't you'll see them as the 7/10 jrpgs they are
