The TOTK dungeons were better than BOTW animal by a mile.

With that being said, devs seem to avoid anything too complicated these days. And modern gamers likewise call anything that uses more than 0.00001% brain power poor game design.

Which never made sense to me, because everyone just looks everything up these days if they are stuck. How many people do you think played Elden Ring with 0 help? Especially for all the sidequests. Everyone just looked up some guide or youtube video.

So I say make dungeons as complex as you like - people who appreciate the challenge will go for it blind, and retards will just look up anything at the first inconvenience to their limited intelligence.
