But if you wanna spam porn, gacha, wojaks, political bait, social media screencaps, frogs and AI its board culture and should be encouraged on a minutely basis. Then you have threads like these or others complaining about how /v/ is going downhill, from the same people who are killing it or are apathetic to its current destruction. Finally they'll forget about any of this and just continue business as usual until the cycle repeats ad-nauseam. Theres mental illness and then theres the bleak void of anti-intellectualism that /v/ embraces and I'm trying to understand why everyone is like this?

You can still get some good discussion when a new game comes out, because chances are a few anons genuinely played it. The discussions are good for a thread or two but the honesty dissipates after that. Double edged sword of anonymity.
