>>732364349That's the rare example of a game that had to be totally remade from scratch but they tried to keep it 1:1, leading to the worst outcome if you've played before, as the responsivity of the controls is extremely different.Full remakes (total redesign of gameplay systems but keeping of story or prior assets) are neutral: can be good, can be bad. For instance, the best RPG on the DS is Metal Max 2 Reloaded, a remake that stands entirely separate from the base material. I am really pleased by the recent trend of de-gachified remakes though. Octopath 0 was unambiguously good and hopefully the Another Eden remake trilogy works out.

>>732364349The rim lighting looks very cheap and fake. It immediately evokes 2010s viral game / friendslop. The lips have no texture, and the area around the mouth has these awkward shadows around it that make the contours and complexion of his face look weird. Thats as best as i can describe it. Theres more here that bugs me but i dont think anyone has pointed this out before.
