I want more on board interaction, puzzles and meaningful decisions within the ship and the galaxy. Most of all, the crew has to have strict roles and there would need to be a chain of command, like TNG. Nobody likes world ending, disaster cycles. That's why ME2 and 3 failed. Mass Effect 1 had that mystery element tied to each planet you would visit, which kept it interesting.
