Real talk, nigga. Why don't devs even try to make theyre games funny anymore? Rare's games (DK64, Conker, Banjo), Viewtiful Joe, Ratchet and Crank, GTA... just to name a few. They all tried to be funny every chance they got. Every cutscene was a comedy skit. Hit or miss, but they tried. Cheesy or too reliant on slapstick, it didn't matter, at least they tried. At least they tried to be FUNNY, and not deliberately preachy, inclusive, safe horny, political, and all the UNFUNNY garbage we get today. Why. Just why, nigga?
