Chain hurl is crap damage but is quick to come out, good for status procs, and can be followed up with a wild surge to instantly down human enemies low or out of ki. I usually followed that up with demon undercut then final blow and it would kill most things no problem. I love the hit and run style hatchets has to compensate for crappier overall damage per hit. But it's okay, you should be hitting a lot with hatchets anyway.

Can someone explain the use of Pheasant Leap?The game says it makes you jump real high but its honestly the same height as a singular jump. My first thought upon seeing it was "oh, so this is how they expect me to get up to that enemy" (unreachable Yokai you can barely see from a roof)Anyways, I expected to be able to double jump and then activate it midair to get a third jump. For her grab, deliberately swap to ninja, quick attack once, then use mist to create a clone. Oni-Baba will target the clone and ignore you, so you can either stay ninja and go on the offensive or swap back to samurai.
