I realize after learning about maxing the Samurai cum gauge to chain multiple skills together, I have been playing Nioh wrong. I usually just do a few light attacks into a heavy finisher into a special input skill, is there any logic behind what can successfully chain and combo into other things? Can I always martial art into another martial art for example? What about how regular attacks fit in?

Meanwhile the unga bunga ninja 1kat and splitstaff are crushing enemies. 1kat needs a little bit of finesse backstab dmg, splitstaff does not.
