Working on my K9 Super Quant, need some advice for the ED. What rank 5s are the most important to have? Nash Knight + CXYZ, Durendal, and C104 Masquerade seem like the important ones. Even in the grind game it's relatively easy to get it back from graveyard.3) I never used the Pre-Prep package with Mitsu Ryzeal (I do use it with Yummy Ryzeal) so I'm not sure how well it performs, but it's probably fine.4) Having 2 Droll is probably better because it can shut down most decks. BES Metal Slave proves that even a few good cards can't salvage an archetype full of cards that don't do anything. God the I:P solo mode was such a trip. Like S-Force DiGamma modulates an opponent's monster's battle position, and then prevents it from changing it's battle position. This counters... Gagaga Cowboy? I guess? This isn't even a future proof or powercreep thing, DiGamma came out in 2020. Half the archetype is like this. And even the good cards are significantly worse than generic replacements. Justify's effect reads okay until you realize that Gorgon of Zilofthonia is just better than he is. This archetype needs a LOT more than just one really good spell card (That you can ash btw)

>>732535008It's a very different type of game. Runs on a totally different axis, and the power level is way lower but people still get OTK'd all the time, ironically. A lot of decks actually want to go second because of this. Very odd game overall, not sure if I'd recommend it to an experienced Yugioh player. Maybe it's just my opinion but it feels like when an old series is rebooted for a modern audience and strips out a bunch of what makes the old series unique. It's not bad, and obviously Konami is still supporting Yugioh proper, but I dunno. It's not as thoughtful as something like GOAT, there aren't as many cool combos as in Edison or HAT, and obviously it lacks the high octane power of modern Yugioh, but I guess if you're interested you can at least bypass the horrible Duel Links gacha.

Not that it really matters, you can't even rank down until Platinum so as long as your opponent occasionally bricks you'll still get your rank up gems. Dracotail or K9 are both solid investments though K9VS is fucking expensive. If you have the Branded structure from last year's rookie campaign get Dracotail. Branded Fusion is a Dracotail starter and you can play Cartesia as extra copies of Malulu. Plus new Branded support helps Dracotail.
Jokul is the broken card not Izuna, Izuna is just more copies of JokulJokul by itself is Typhon and any future Link 1 Xyzs

Also, the flexibility with Magician's Souls for a draw 2 + a body behind Dragoon is kind of disgusting. It's a very simple engine, which is great for me because I still somehow remember all my Orcust lines.

I guess Sacred Beasts was technically Yubel all along but still. Outside of the original Yubels it was basically all new cards. S-Force would probably need a similar treatment, but the field spell, Justify, OG Chiyomaru, and Retroactive are all workable cards, they just need something to turbo them out and tie the archetype together.

Charmers really needs a contact fusion to turn those bricks in your hands into something. Ideally a starter that can get you your backrow and put Charmer on the field. Grand Circle is amazing, but it gets hit by every handtrap in existence. I would really love if there's a contact fusion Charmer that prevents your opponent from activating monster effects from the hand during your turn based on 1500 Spellcasters attributes on your field and GY.
