30+ year old thread, what video games have you played this weekend? Give it a quick rate too
i need some advice from you guys, im 42 here. I've been playing video games all my life, in many different genres, from Civilization to Warcraft to Wolfenstein 3D to Halo to Half Life to Fallout to Fornite to Red Dead Redemption to The Witcher to Cyberpunk 2077 and many in between. My wife knew this shortly after we met and of course when we got married. She had always said that she doesn't "get them" or understand why anyone would want to play them but she understood that it was something I found relaxing and enjoyable.Fast forward to this week and she flat out tells me (while we were arguing about something else) that she thinks video games are juvenile, she can't believe that a 42 year old man plays them, and that playing them makes me less attractive to her. For reference, I'm a manager at work, we have a nice house, four kids and 2 dogs. So it's not like I'm just bumming around. And I take care of my hygiene and appearance - basically I don't fall into any of the negative gamer stereotypes. I also play when everyone else is asleep so it's not cutting into family or housework time. It does mean that I tend to sleep in on weekend mornings though, which she doesn't like, as she's more of a morning person.what do? Is there any hope of her changing how she feels? She knows that some of them are very much not for kids and that it's a bigger industry than movies, but it doesn't change how she feels. Should I give up gaming? That would feel like a huge sacrifice but would probably have big benefits. Or do we just live with this?
>mfw I can finally post in these threads Sup, dudes.
I'm 30 this year.I've been playing Skate Story, I'd recommend it.Great soundtrack, amazing natural progression in terms of your skills and what the game directly introduces to you. It's got a nonsensical story that punctuates things nicely, you're led from high-speed, corridor and boss sequences, to these kind of plazas or hubs that open up and you can skate at your leisure. The music is amazing, ramps up the intensity when it needs to so well, along with the visual effects that make you feel like a fucking pro skater when you slam down a combo or do a perfect trick off a difficult grind.I like it a lot. And I don't have a long history with skating games, maybe Tony Hawk on the DS...I wasn't playing any games this year, but now I've found myself without girlfriend.
I'm 34 and I feel the oldest of this shitholeFunny because first time I posted here I was one of the youngest
played fuga 3. quit after the chimera boss fight.
>>732569416I am not a priest in any officially recognizable capacity, so take my life advice with a grain of salt. So you say your wife is angry about something else and using video games to shame you. You have a choice. You can give into the woman's devious manipulation tactics and surrender your love for gaming or you can go to bed with her 3 nights a week and fuck her brains out & she will forget about your gaming hobby the rest of the week. Also, since you have done so well for yourself as a successful man, take your wife and kids out to breakfast on Saturdays. Be the father. >>732569340I am going through the world of ruin in ff6. Then i hop over to link to the past. these were two of my favorites growing up and they still stand the test of time. Ff6 is in my top 5 favorite JRPGs. it is neither too much nor too little. Kefka turning on the emperor and nuking the world with magic is still one of my favorite villiain arc plot twists and terra as a foster mom for teenage refugees in the WoR with the two 16 year olds becoming a mommy & daddy is so pure.
Finished my Dark Souls 1 replay yesterday. I had played it like 13 years ago, it sure holds up, truly a masterpiece. Now, I'm coming back to Hollow Knight: Silksong, love that game, the difficulty grew on me, really forces you to up your game. Just got to the Choral Chambers.Gonna start Void Stranger soon, I play only two videogames at the same time.
>>732570901I'm 37, there are even older anons.
>>732569416I know this is a copy pasta but you are a beta bucks, my friend
>>732571095Best version of ff6?
Been playing classic. I hate it, it's a waste of time, but I've come to the realization that no amount of "not being subbed" doesnt push me into playing other shit. If a new good game drops, ill stop wow to play it. Without wow, i'd play it too. No good games to play? I aint playing shit.>>732570901Every time I'm like "my age is whatever", I see shit like this and get sour. I dont mind 24 year olds, or 29 year olds, but people 30 or 31, I get triggered for no real reason
41 here.Lately, I've been getting more and more annoyed at padding in games. Like, big sections with nothing but talking that are unskippable (Last of Us 2) or minigames that are only there to waste time (every Mass Effect game had one of those). I usually play a first playthrough without mods and then try the game again with mods, but somedays I just don't bother at all. I modded Mass Effect 2 to skip every single door-opening minigame and it became a much better game because of that.
>>732571275I play the snes version. >>732571483>Been playing classic. I hate it, it's a waste of time, but I've come to the realization that no amount of "not being subbed" doesnt push me into playing other shit.Wow classic is one of those games that I got bored with by 2021 but also classic + is kind of interesting and I want to see th e direction it goes in. I have put off TBC classic as much as TBC was my favorite expansion. but I might sub just to give me something else to do.
Im 30, I autistically replay the same games again and again because they're like comfort food to me. I simply don't have much time to play video games so picking up new games seems like taking a risk to me. In the past year alone, I've replayed RE4 seven times, FF12 five times, D:OS2 thrice, Elden ring four times etc. I do challenge runs to keep them fun and interesting, although vanilla playthroughs are fun and comfy as well. I'm not complaining, I genuinely enjoy my time with these games. The way I reason is, we enjoy the same fucking food every day and the same feeling of orgasming and the same alcoholic drinks and the same walks through the same woods. So what's the big deal about repeating the enjoyment you get from great video games? I'm dopamine-maxxing on games and having fun. I occasionally do play new games, but I make sure they're really good. My next new game will be RE9.
>>732572212I like replaying games too but I'd burn out if I replayed them back to back. I let them rest for at least 6 years before replaying them, there's plenty to go through so I'm in no rush>eating the same foodIf I could afford to eat something new every day I totally would. But all I can afford are different mixes of the same cheap ingredients. No matter what you call that new dish, it's still basically the same thing if it's made from the same stuff
46 here. I put silksong on hiatus, I don't think I can manage it. I did beat eigon in nine sols last year so I tought I could manage it but it's looking grim bros.
>>732569340I haven't played any vidya in a year, but I'm probably going on my yearly 300 hour binge of Morrowind in a month or two.
>>73256934033Beat Northern Journey. 8/10 some incredible highs and a really cool setting, but the ending was a long boring swimming section and the final boss was a slog even if it had cool ideas. Still highly recommend it, though I preferred The Axis Unseen.Been playing Outriders with a buddy just to have something to do co-op. It's dogshit with the worst of Destiny, Borderlands, and Diablo 3 but number go up.Got Teslagrad 1 and 2 for $4 the other day, both of them have a lot of neat puzzles but are also endlessly mired in 2010s indie physics puzzles that are inconsistent and frustrating, and the boss fights are even worse. Need to decide what I'm playing next, the shortlist is Angeline Era or Peaks of Yore but I've got two dozen games in my "next" pile.
>>732573104If you beat true ending Eigong there's nothing in Silksong that'll be insurmountable. The only thing that might fuck you is there's several bosses that actively punish you for playing defensively and letting them set the pace, so if you're too passive it's easy to get cornered.
>>732569340t. 30Slowly working through Ar Tonelico. Also did a few osu! maps to shake off rust.>inb4 osu! at 30Yes, got a problem with that, punk?
>>732569340Finished Super Woden Rally Edge.>quick rate8. Simple is good and I'd much rather play this over most racing titles, especially as it has a clear end, but I think that's more of a sign of how far the genre has fallen than a sign of this game's quality (though it's a solo dev project so I can't be too harsh on it).
>>732569416either you tell your bitch to shut the fuck up or divorce her. dont think theres any in between.
35 here. Been bouncing between Warframe and Soulframe. I like them.
>>732573104What boss were you on?I 100% the game and I'm not particularly good, just doing the usual "get all the upgrades to make the game easier" cycle.Had to give up on Steel Soul though, my heartrate just can't take it.
33, just trying to kill time until Mewgenics releases on Tuesday and consumes everything.Been playing some Bust-A-Move(Puzzle Bobble) and it still scratches an itch decades later. Been playing the PSP version Bust-A-Move Deluxe with Retroachievements and while it's not the best version of the game it has some interesting ideas and a ton of content.
>>732569340finally beat Clair Obscur Simon V2supremely satisfying to complete everything, but i'm overall burnt out from this game.>t.34>>732569416she wants your attention, anon. come up with or ask her what hobbies she would like you two to do together and do them for a bit.might i recommend some table-top gaming?>>732571553your time is much more valuable now then as as teenager, neurotransmitters will guilt you when gaming when there is work still to be done.
fugggg the spoiler was supposed to be this one
>>732569340>36I went to a Magic tournament yesterday and got absolutely destroyed. I knew I wouldn't get far because I'm not into the meta nor is my deck meta, but was hoping to do a tiny bit better than I did. Just terrible RNG and bad match ups all around. I didn't have fun and will probably just stick to prereleases or drafts.Bit of FFXIV because I needed to wrap up weekly stuff and supposed to be raiding with frens later. It's ok but mostly just something to do.Picked Pathologic 3 back up. I'm really liking it and super interested to see where the different plotlines go.
>>732569340Elite Dangerous. Absolutely unplayable without pounding half a bottle of vodka first and about $400 worth of enthusiast grade peripheral devices. God I hate video games.
a short hike was nicegonna start exploring animal well now
>>732575131If you're in the mood for a slightly longer hike Lil Gator Game has a DLC/sequel out next week
>>732569340FF1 Pixel Remaster. Smooths the game out pretty flat, ensuring just about anyone could beat it, but also making it really dull. You never need to stop and grind and the four fiend bosses barely do anything in their fights. I appreciated some of the QOL features, but the game doesn't work without the bite of the original.
>>732575206neat, I'll check it out nexttwo hours of vidya a week is plenty enough
I'm 38, and things have been particularly rough for the last two years, even with all the world-going-to-shit-stuff aside
46. IIDX33 - 10/10. Fire Emblem Engage - I said 7/10 before but I'm halfway through a hard run and liking it more now than previously. I'll be happy to be done with it when it's over, all the same.
>>732569416>Is there any hope of her changing how she feels?Nah, she's an ignorant "cool girl" bitch. A gold digger. You could write those people a phone-book thick document full of facts and arguments, and she'd scoff them off as nerdy nonsense (= she does not get any of it).I've seen such bitches. One of my old school buddies got married to one, and it crushed his soul. He literally was under the hoe's shoe, never was allowed to meet his friends and have fun no more.UNTIL they divorced a few years ago. Suddenly my PMs started singing, we started meeting, having LAN parties, going out and having online fun again. With MY wife constantly being either involved or encouraging us.My suggestion: sack the woman. But assuming that you still want to try and turn her puny female head around, you can try to shove some FAXX to her face:1. The main bulk of ALL gamers have been 30-40 yo men, ever since the 1990s. The very recent online surveys conducted by Nintendo and Capcom re-confirmed this.2. The Mature / R18 rating and content labels are not for a show. It's LITERALLY illegal in most countries to hand over adult-rated vidya to those underage.3. Gaming is an engaging, interactive multimedia art form, that easily triumphs over books and movies. All while they can utilize the tools and theories originally used FOR those other media formats.4. The need for active participation not only is good for your brain, contrary to the binge-watching of Netflix or Doomscrolling those bitchy womyn tend to practice.Which is why they also get FILTERED by gaming.5. The amount of tangential learning gaming provides has been reported over and over again by many researchers throughout the past half a century. Linguistic skills, hand-eye coordination, team-work, micromanagement skills... list goes on. There's a reason why simulators are popular teaching tools these days, for many IRL fields.6. Gaming employs millions of people. Nuff said.Devs, game educators, e-sports fags..
>>732575735yeah the years fly by fastereach with less joy
>>732569340Replaying Mass Effect trilogyAbout to start the Arrival DLC which will conclude my ME2 playthroughMoving onto Nioh 3 afterwards before returning to ME3
>>732575862less energy and motivation too. I can't do half the stuff I used to, go to bed early and sleep longer than I ever had. also, depression, etc.
>>732569340finished FEAR perseus mandate, played some chroma squad, got a little bit further in lumino city. today i downloaded a bunch of games from my steam backlog to try out and hopefully beat>ruiner>orbo's odyssey>nightmare kart>shining resonance refrain
>>732569340Code vein 2: 6/10. Its not a GOOD game but it's got enough good stuff going on and enough build options to be enjoyable.Nioh 3: 8/10. Not very far with it just coming out but it's been fun. Basically just 2 with more stuff and some changes for the new systems. Might go up or down depending on how the game changes as I get further in. Only actual complaint so far is its been pretty easy compared to othe games. I've died more against 1 enemy in code vein 2 than I have in all of my nioh play time. Also plan on playing menace when im not feeling action games. It'll probably kick my ass.
41. Playing Code vein 2 & Nioh 3. I feel like both games have the same problem in that they wanted to be open world to mimic Elden Ring and it has made both games worse because of it. Still fun despite that, but I preferred the style of the previous games for both series.>>732573583I hope you avoid Luca if you play the second game.
Been trying to finish SOMA for the first time. I liked Frictional before this one (and especially the piece of shit that was The Bunker) but I find it really boring to play and unless the ending makes me cum in my pants I already feel like I can either guess the twists or have already seen all the themes have to offer.Otherwise the usual timesink "I don't want to think about anything" games like Balatro and the sorts.
>>732573583Love second game. I recommend it. Third was alright but not as good.
>>732576226>>orbo's odysseyI had fun with that but I'm not a platformer guy. I suspect if you really care about platforming that can demanding a lot of attention. It's short though so you can backlog that out real quick. I think I did it in one night. Barely over an hour on steam to finish the "story" and see the secrets.
>>73256934036 here. Been mostly playing the Super Bomberman Collection on the Switch 2. 2 in particular was the one I have on SNES, and playing it for the first time in 20+ years was pretty crazy; hearing that battle theme reminded me of hooking up the Multitap at friends' houses and playing it 4 players all weekend. Really praying the Goemon collection comes here, and that hopefully we get a Bomberman 64 collection.>Silksong, FFXVI, Dragon Quest II HD2D, Pokemon Z-AAll in hiatus. I'm decently far into each of them, but I keep losing attention and end up wanting to do something else. Maybe it's working all day that keeps me from picking them up too long, but even on the weekend, I just turn them off after 5 minutes
>>73256934052. Just been playing Isaac and 9sols lately.
I finished Heretic for the first time. I hated Episode 5. By that point the game had worn out its welcome and I just wanted it to be over.
I'm delaying my second attack at playing Silksong with card, building, and sim games which are much easier and less stressful. Monster Train 2 update, Tropico 6, Fields of Mistria aka Better Stardew.
>>732576830>52>on /v/Impressive.
>>732577131>got 30 hours into Silksong>dropped it for whatever reason, been 3 months since I played it>want to pick it up>wont know what I was doing>really dont want to start again thoughAt least with HK1 it didn't feel that terrible to start from the beginning.
>>732577229It's far more intense and punishing than Hollow Knight, I feel the same way. The games start out at about the same difficulty but Silksong ramps up difficulty FAST and very quickly reaches "optional endgame content in Hollow Knight" levels.
>>732577139Not related, but back when I played Ragnarok Online (2004~2006), the two top guildmasters on my server were both over 50 too. One of them owned a local chain of gas stations and the other was an investiment banker. Fucking wild.
>>732577229Same here. Finished Bayonetta back in 2019 by doing nothing but the bread 'n butter combo. I tried to play it again yesterday and got absolutely destroyed in the first stage. I didn't even remember Witch Time.
>>732569340>Apollo Justice7.5/10 weakest Ace Attorney I've played so far >FF99/10 it's my favorite mainline FF some issues with plot prevent it from being a 10/10
>>732577387I think if I remember I stopped playing as I got fucked off by some boss in the swamp bit where you had to deal with a bunch of annoying enemies just to start the fight and then the fight itself was annoying, and I hadn't many complaints about "runbacks" until that boss with the stupid fucking maggot water shit. That runback just to get an extra barrier before I even got to TRY the boss really boiled my piss. No other runback had bothered me too much, besides mild annoyance, but that one infuriated me.
>>732569416There isnt anything you can do. Im not queit your age, but close. Im a civil engineer and make 6 figures a year, own our house, 3 kids, dogs, vehicles. We got it. Well my wife has had an issue with me playing games for years, so now I play them after everyone is asleep so I dont take anyone else's time. Its still an issue. Face it, there isnt much else you can do because somehow me playing games while my wife is asleep is still detracting from her time with me.
>>732569340Street Fighter 6 so I can get ready for Alex next month and Space Harrier because I've fucking loved Space Harrier for most of my existence.
>>732577442>One of them owned a local chain of gas stations and the other was an investiment banker. Fucking wildAnd to think when we're all 50 we'll likely have fuck all to show for it in comparison
Nightreign DLC, trying to get better at solo Dreglord.
>>732577574It's the worst runback in the game, but it's also possible to fight that boss long before it's necessary. There's a hidden bench about halfway there that's a bit easier.
YOU CA-the humble king of the lust layer: woman. may you send me pictures of thou 'i thy pajamas. i might not but agnize the sight of thy beauty
>>732577723I think I may have had it, but the memory is all hazey.Isn't the boss also optional? I was just too stubborn to let it go though. Mostly a problem of my own making.
>>732577387Silksong really lets you down since there's a big lack of interesting/useful charms in act1 and most of act 2, so besides spamming certain consumables like mines or caltrops. And winning by spamming those feels far worse than using good charm synergies in HK and making a solid build.
Feels Good Man.
>>732569416Genuinely, you have to just tell her to eat shit. I'm sure there are a shitload of things she likes that you find retarded. Tell her to put on her big girl pants and accept that different people like different things. If she's feeling unappreciated or whatever the fuck she can use her words for that. You're a grown adult with a house, a respectable job, and kids. You can dress up like a tranny if you want, as long as it's on your own personal time nobody should give a fuck, and anyone who does care is gay. This is the time of your life when you should stop giving a shit and do whatever you want because there is nothing that you have to prove.
>>732569340I'm replaying Army of Two: TDC. hadn't touched it in 10 years. back then I played it in coop and it was somewhat fun, now I'm playing solo and it's boring. it's a basic cover shooter, not much to say about it. it's short so I'll finish it for the 7th gen nostalgia. it does have some soulful level design.
>>732577839It's optional if you let the game end at Act 2. You need to beat him to get to Act 3.
33playing some Spess Murine and Tomb Raider 2might emulate some PS2 games later
Turn 30 in just over a week and have been doing what I’ve been doing for the past 5 years: playing old vidya I own and emulating games I never got to play in the 2000s. Currently playing through all the old NFS games but if I need a fix of online play I’ll join other anons for Sonic Racing Crossworlds. Liked the latter a lot more than I thought I would.
>>732578238Fucking hell I didn't even know this was an option. Fair enough.
CK3Creating a WMAF empire. 10/10 gooner game.Wish I could find a game that was similar to it, but had more advanced economics. EU4 is close, but you can't create hybrid cultures, just accepted cultures.
>>732572212What’s FF12 like? Only started playing FF games a few years back when 16 came out (needed something to play on my Piss5 that year aside from GoW Ragnarok) and have played 3, 6, 7 (OG, Remake and Rebirth) and emulated 10. I’ve heard mixed things about 12 but that has mainly to do with the Gambit system.
>>732578306>>732569581You will never be a boomer or a 4channer. Thread is technically /35/+ btw, the unicorn poster is dead
>>732578610I don't know about you but it's just nice for me to hear people talking about slower games in different niches.More turn based and emulation rather than what I would consider younger genres like competitive FPS and gacha.I don't give a shit if you're in your 20s, just don't come here looking for a fight. There are plenty of other threads for that.

RE Code Veronica X Dolphin GC edition. It's very good. I like the setting, graphics, zombies. The puzzles make sense to me. The exploration.I prefer it more than RE3.

>>732569416It's not an easy problem to solve and it generally only gets worse as she gets older and starts craving more "productive" hobbies as that mid-life crisis starts hitting. If she's starting to join some "self-help / life improvement" groups, get her away from them immediately. They're going to destroy your relationship. It's a case of a very narrow world view and lack of empathy.Insecure people care a lot about appearance, so this tends to happen when they feel the need to show off or their life is in a way being judged by an external party.

>>732581258>they don’t make em like this anymoreHave you played Once Upon a Katamari?Still debating whether it's my favorite in the series but it's definitely the best game since We Love Katamari. It's the first Katamari game that really feels like a proper third game rather than just remixes of 1 and 2.
>>732578554I'm not great at explaining why I love it, but me and other fans of this game genuinely think it's one of the best games ever made, like top 5 easily. I love everything about it. Ivalice has amazing world building. The gambit system is polarizing of course. You can fine tune it and set up a good system, then turn your brain off and just run around killing everything. But the real enjoyment of the game comes during challenge runs. The base game is way too easy, especially if you're not playing the IZJS version which limits your playstyle. Doing level 1 runs or no license board runs is what makes you really start to utilize every advantage you can get. It gets to the point where even a poorly timed item use can make you lose a 15 minute fight.
>>732569340I played Flight Simulator 2024.

I spotted Silent Hope in some thread not long ago and decided to give it a try. For some reason it reminded me a little of Spiral Knight, but it's not something I could grind for hours on end anymore. It's a nice little game for when I don't have enough time or energy to play something that calls for longer sessions.

>>732586253Sounds more like how your life is going. Probably feel like you have to be doing something productive and videogames are beating against that. An instrument or learning to draw or writing something might help but its something you need to work through.
>>732569340Currently playing Hogwarts Legacy, 8/10 so far.I’ve gotten the itch to play WoW TBC Classic though because I’ve played vanilla enough and want to try the expansion but I’m worried I’ll get too into it.
>>732569416Honestly.. yeah you should give up gaming and replace it with a hobby that women find more attractive like reading or language learning. It would make your wife happy.
31 as of 17 minutes ago. I just play EU4 every day. No I will not play EU5.
>>732574996Limited is god tier, draft has been the best part of MTG for over a decade now.Downside is it's hard and expensive but at least you always have a shot. Showing up to a Constructed tournament without a meta deck is just asking to get destroyed nowadays.
>>732586892>doing something productiveNTA but I genuinely don't get the problem. You are 30+ so almost definitely employed full-time. You are already doing "productive" things for a third of the day and a half of waking hours. Unless you are behind the chores, I see no problem doing the most time-wasting activity as long as it's fun. To me it seems >>732586253 might've fallen victim to self-"improvement" grifters.
>>732587109>It would make your wife happymaybe for a day or two, but later she'll complain you are doing something dangerous (e.g. carpentry) or you stay inside too much (e.g. reading, languages) or whatever else. it will never be enough.you must address the issue at its core
>>732574996>Magic tournamentHow smelly was the venue?
>>732569416You're stupid for marrying a women who doesn't play video games, my advice, don't listen to what she says and keep playing video games.
>>732587775I went to a couple Magic tournaments this year and surprisingly they don't smell nearly as bad as they did when I was a kid.I think social media has made people more self-conscious, or at least aware.I think I forgot to wear deodorant to one so my opponents probably couldn't say the same though.
>>732569416Lmao normie problems.
32 Here playing cairn on my standing desk while also reading blame in between larger stretches. Just got to the statue and I spent 20 minutes trying to reach the top from the cliff side only to die on the inside of it. Kino climbing game.
I'm 35 and still a virgin, it's never been more over. I don't even play vidya anymore I just watch it and doom scroll Youtube all day
>>732569340Disco Elysium, still love it.The dialogue, the politics which are somehow pretty cozy, this MC who will take damage from sitting in a slightly uncomfortable chair or thinking about something sad, it's all just so fucking great. It's also one of the few games in which I REALLY love the world building. This broken up earth with its complex history and the idea of the pale and pale travel. I wish the devs weren't such cunts so we could get a proper sequel some day.
>>73258813199% of women don't play video games, especially not as a main hobby and it's seen as one of the most unattractive hobbies for men. Good luck finding an attractive woman that likes you back and also plays video games.
>>732571553I'm replaying Twilight Princess for the first time after 20 years and my god it is the absolute fucking worst about this. Might be the worst pacing of any Zelda game. It was a 9/10 for me in high school, now I'm thinking it's more 7/10 strictly because of all the stupid bullshit.
>>732587316Its not a matter of logic, its a matter of how people end up feeling.
>>732585862This, there are actually a ton of 50 and 60+ true oldfags browsing here they just don't mention it because zoomniggers will attack them
>>73257090135: too old to zoom, too young to boomIf a game under performs for 5-10 minutes it's refund city. If your game gets good 1 hour in I aint gonna know. If somethings complex ill watch some youtube tutorials but the game better not slow shit down with babby click instructions or lore dumps i dont give a fuck about
>>732573583I hope you choose Luca if you play the second game
>>732569340>36Honestly, just hanging there, I feel like 2026 is going to be an even shittier year, but all things considered I'm doing pretty ok. I finished Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated this Thursday and what a fun game it was, I was honestly surprised at how solid of a collectathon platformer it was and how, for once, a game shilled by /v/ was actually very fun. 8.5/10.I was going to start Resident Evil 2 Remake, but I've been without internet since the morning and I'm still waiting for the technician to come, so in the meantime I'm playing Touhou Danmaku Kagura since it got new songs, and this one is now one of my new favorites:https://youtu.be/MByMCC57E3g
Do you seriously have nothing better to do? Shouldn't you already be on your 3rd kid at least? If you are single, why are you not dating every day? Do you want to die alone? You literally have a couple of years left to fix your life, yet you waste it on games.
>>732589838>You literally have a couple of years left to fix your lifeHe's not a woman. His semen will be as good at 70 years old as it is now.
>>732575832>3. Gaming is an engaging, interactive multimedia art form>4. The need for active participation not only is good for your brain,I really want to go through a backlog of other media like film and anime but I dread having to give up 1.5-2 hours to sit idle without actually doing something stimulating. For the latter I can read manga which I can do at a faster pace, but for the former I'm genuinely fucked.I know this sounds like a zoomer issue but I'm not a zoomer.
BROOLing in Deadlock
>>732589952Most men stop being marketable past 30 though, impossible to get a fertile woman
>>732590110That's when you go to the third world and get a desperate but sexy wife who you financially tie down. As good as any nagging western bitch.
>>732569416>I also play when everyone else is asleepSo you're not sleeping with your wife, no wonder she's bitching she probably thinks you're a closeted homo.
>>732588646Don't beat yourself up. The grapes are more sour than normies will ever admit.
>>732590337>stay in the shithole country you got her fromor>she uses you to get a green card and divorce rapes you afterThis sounds like horrible advice.
33 and bouncing between Warframe and Beatsaber and city management simulators (banished and farthest frontier) and drawing slop. Dont really want anything more.>>732589251on 5channel they have 40+ threads on their gaming boards.
>>732589838Some bloodlines are so dysgenic, cursed and insane that they're guaranteed to produce disabled or mentally ill and toxic children. I've seen too many people, both relatives and otherwise, run away from garbage families only to have all the same shit come back and haunt them in the form of their children being little copies of their grandparents.
The more I hear about you niggas in relationship the more I am okay being single
>>73256934034>Nioh 3 Demo Too soon to say, mostly installed out of curiosity and to see how well my system could handle I at 4K>Typing of the Dead: Overkill It’s on sale right now so I got it for $7. Didn’t trust any of torrents and have been enjoying the older game lately. Picked it up in early AM so I haven’t played this one yet.>Rocket League It’s my go to pick-up-and-play game, but I feel like I’ve been getting better at it lately so I’ve been playing it a lot more. >Diablo 2: Resurrected Same as Rocket League, though I have to be careful with it since I sometimes end up playing for 10x longer than I intended. Been busy as fuck with school (yeah I’m still in school and its a long story I don’t feel like retelling). Things in my life are on the first upward trajectory in many years.
34. i started Raidou: Mystery of the Soulless Army last night. I'd give it a 7/10 so far. I don't really care for action combat but I thought I'd give it a try because I like smt. I'm still on chapter 1, hoping the story will pick up soon
Been playing AtomfallMore fun than I was expecting, sort of an imsim lite, with prey meets farcry vibesThe combat is pretty aggressively mid and the antialiasing is just dogshit but a solid game that drops you in and doesn't hold your hand, 7/10If they had a bigger budget or if it were developed by the old Arkane devs it could've been a 9/10
>>732587274>Showing up to a Constructed tournament without a meta deck is just asking to get destroyed nowadaysYou're not wrong. Guess I underestimated how sweaty everyone was gonna be since I live in a generally small city and there were barely a dozen of us who entered.I wouldn't have minded as much if I at least got to do something. But my match ups were against Jeskai Control and Izzet Lessons. So I got to sit there and do nothing for 20 minutes while they played solitaire.>>732587775Honestly, not bad. There was a bit of funk in one corner but that was about it.
>>732589838fucking sluts gets boring and i don't respect women enough to start a relationshipi'd rather relax and game than listen to some hole yap about some bullshit i don't care about when she's not choking on my cockand fuck kids, too expensive and i'd rather spend my money on myself
36 here. Here are the last 10 games I played. Most of the time was spent playing X4 though. I've gotten to the end of the Boron storyline and quite enjoyed it, although I wish it was longer. I'm thinking of restarting and picking a race more appropriate for role playing at creating a huge empire. The RPer in me can't see a Boron taking on the task of building an empire from scratch. In-between bouts of X4 I've mostly been playing San Andreas and Destroy All Humans.
>>732569416Crazy that people fall for this pasta still
I'm 32 and I'm playing Persona 3 Reload. Its kino. Chihiro is my wife!
>>732592968>piss the bed>larp about itthats not very 30+
>>732591728Considered buying that with store credit, but FUCKING Gamestop won't drop the price.
>>732593152>thats not very 30+It is if you're non white
>>73256934030 y/o here, just OSRS for me, cant stand all of the slop they put out these days. i prefer clicking on virtual pixelated trees and rocks and watching number go up
>>732593219I got it in a pre-christmas sale. 20% off. definitely pick it up at a discount. It's good, but not worth full price
I suck at picking usernames. Agree or disagree.
>>732569340Rimworld with a fuckton of mods: 10/10Palworld with friends for the first time (only played by myself before): 10/10
>>732593119Exquisite taste anon.
>>732569340>FFV Pixel RemasterProbably an 8.5/10, I'm about to head into Interdimensional Rift AFAIK but may do some grinding beforehand. First time playing this one.
outer worlds 2I feel like I'm forcing myself to play it, since I have a thing where I must complete the game before starting new one. I hate leaving games unfinished and having huge backlog. also tried to make my character ripley, but it didn't work out very well.
>>732594027I was thinking about trying it out but decided to wait for the DLCs. That's how I played the first one.
I've basically been playing nothing but Trails since my mother died at the end of December, with only one weekend devoted to the RE4 Remake.I'm on Sky the 3rd now.
>>732569340im turning 30 this yeari started seeing someone but they found out im too schizo and broke it offi hate video games nowi have much more fun tinkering with old game systems and im working on a vic-20 right nowis there any hope for me what do i do
I feel really pathetic that I play this roblox game for hours a day. It has so little content and production value, and the playerbase is down, but I know nothing else that keeps my attention. Does anyone know any proper game like it? Like an asymmetrical survival multiplayer game where you switch to the killer side when you die, rather than just sit out. But it's thrilling to survive against 10+ real players all teaming up to kill you if you're the last one.https://youtube.com/watch?v=gW05cLBmoEM
