Why is this controller hated so much on here?
>>732759496Snoys and steamies are really obsessed with hating ms for providing very functional products that are widely used.
>>732759496i bought it and it felt cheap, face buttons were mushy and sticks arent smooth and the controller is very narrow at the top
>>732759496Cause it's too fat and i prefer the left analog on the bottom. It's not complicated.
>>732759646>>732759496Good alternatives?
It's not, it's just not very good and that sends xniggers into a flying rage.
Not as well made as the 360 controller
Because it consistently gets stick drift with less than 30 hours of usage, it requires firmware updates instead of simply functioning, the usb port will get looser than your mom, by default requires disposable batteries, costs around $50 despite being lower quality than 20 year old shit you can get for $10
The series x is quite practically the perfect generic controller for me. It's the 360 controller but with every single issue fixed especially the d-pad>b-but muh extra buttons on my SAAAAAR controllerIf I wanted something extra I would use a m/kb or a specialized controller like an arcade stick retard
>>732759795The only 'people' who defend this trash are subhuman apes who write in meme speak.
>>732759496hated? I love it
>>7327596978bitdo ultimate was nicer but i kept gamesir g7 proflydigi is supposed to be good
It works fine, ds4 is better mostly because the dpad feels better as separate blades but idc what anyone says ds4 and steam input has issues randomly.
>>732759496its not, you just made that up to start a shitty thread, as usual
>>732759843name a better controller. I'll wait
>>732759496It's singlehandedly responsible for holding the industry back. If not for microsoft, games could be designed with gyro, trackpads and back buttons in mind and be more complex than the dozen buttons on a controller allow.
>>732759924>t. coping snoy
>>732759980usecase for gyro and don't say shooters
>>732759983Go ahead and link archives to fifty threads hating on it then.
>>732759952Quite literally anything else. The switch controllers, dualsense, basically any non-budget third party, and most of all the steam controller.
>>732760015Any game with aiming as a mechanic.
>>732760029ok tell us what other controller comes with a swappable battery
>>732760076use a mouse
>>732759771had it for 2 years at this pointno stick drift, usb is perfect4 batteries cost 2 dollars in my country, but i use the controller plugged in anyway so it doesn't matternever had to update it or install anything. just plugged it in and started using itthis might be a you problem
Because no goyro and haptic memeback.
>>732760221but gyro is a meme
>>732759884>because the dpad feels better as separate bladesThis is a core issue of the snoytroller. Because the separation of the dpad directions is fake and only on the surface. Beneath it is one big plate just like the other dpads. So you have the worst of both worlds. I honestly prefer just 4 separate buttons like on a arrowkey keyboard or the 4 switch buttons acting as dpad over that dreck.
>>732760253Yes, everything that my team doesn't do is a meme.
>>732759980ThisSO MUCH THIS!!The Xbone was also responsible for making PlayStation and Nintendo have paid online because of its market domination!
>>732760142Why?
>>732759980Xbox introduced back buttons on 1st party controllers>>732760435I can tell you're being sarcastic but that is exactly what happened
>>732760101Why would you want that? Rechargeable is better.Even then, I'm sure there are some 3rd party controllers that have that and aren't stuck in 2005 in terms of other features.
>>732760557Correction: xbox took a feature 3rd parties came up with on $50 controllers and sold it for $200.
>>732760645You're not correcting anything I specified 1st party
>>732760574cause I don't want my controller to be ewaste in 4 years
>>732759496I dislike how the casing quality is cheaper than the Xbox 360 controller. If you're going to buy an Xbox One controller, just wait for a sale at EB Games. They'll be the same price as used ones at a pawn shop.
>>732760740Then replace the battery if it ever goes bad. It's still better than getting up and swapping the battery every time it runs out.
>>732760185This, seems like the Chuds on here just can't buy a proper Xbox controller kek. Must be thirdies or brownies kekaro.

>>732759496Why would I buy an $80 controller when a $20 chink controller just werks?>muh gyro controlls>muh touch padIf I wanted to waggle I'd buy a Switch
>>732760142Many games benefit from analog movement. Gyro on a gamepad is the obvious ideal marriage between these two concepts and you contrarian morons just say nah that doesn't count. You are convincing no one.
>>732762935Gyro sucks
>>732759496Cheap plastic, sticky buttons
>>732760253I know, that's why I called it goyro. I prefer my controllers simple and cheap, without sacrificing quality. First party Xbox controllers are well made and cheaper than the Dualsense.
>>732761058That's apparently where most complaints come from, people buy the cheap 3rd rate fakes and are surprised at the subpar quality.
>>732762039>the ability to aim is bloat>being able to swap the batteryWhy? It's slower than just plugging it in.
>>732762889>gyro = waggleNo way you still think this in fucking 2026
>>732766038>simple and cheap, without sacrificing qualityYou think the xbox controller doesn't sacrifice on quality? Lmao.A gyroscope also costs literal cents. There's no reason it would affect the price.
>>732766895No it's just that gyro comes with up front exclusions based on platform, so the people who get shut out just put their fingers in their ears and repeat memes from 2008.
>>732759496absolute best d-pad
>>732759771>the usb port will get looser than your momyou're talking about the xbox one controller. op is the series controller which at least fixed that issue with a usb C port.
>>732759980what? it's Scuf that won't allow back buttos be a standard
>>732759496i have no idea its the best controller
>>732767565I'm actually surprised some people don't use it wireless with the rechargable battery. It's like driving a car with no power steering.
>>732759771You choose to buy disposable batteries. Chargeable AA cells have been a thing for like 2 decades.
>>732768026If you play a lot, the disposables are gonna cost you more than the fucking pad itself very fast.
>>732768151Then don't buy them and use rechargeables?
>>732759496It's the only modern controller with a good dpad.
Someone who uses a Series X:Granted I have like an Lego AT-AT and a bunch of Lego Imperial ships blocking it, but the piece of shit never connects well. Works decently on the PC though with direct connection, but I wish I could use the Switch 2 pro controller it’s much better
>>732768301I mean, that was the point, yeah. What are you on about?
>>732768151that's why rechargeables exist
>>732768347I don't want to use rechargeables. I want to use USB charging. I'm not returning to the Wii days.
>>732767805everyone has a cable as a backup, you're gonna need it at some point. it's good that they got rid of that shitty mini usb port.
>>732759771Literally none of that is true except the batteries, and you can always just get a wired connection if it bothers you that much
>>732768347what's the recommended mAh? I have 1300 and they seem to die fast.
Snoys and overzealous PC players. The Xbox S controllers fits smoothly in my hand, and of all the consoles I have, the Xbox controllers are the only ones that have never developed stick drift. I played on PS4 and the tiny controller and left joystick always made my hands start cramping after awhile. No wonder they mostly play moviegames, I’d hate to play something like COD on Playstation. Not to mention those fuckass PS4 controllers developed stick drift almost right out of the box. At least the Switch controllers take several months to develop stick drift
>>732760029>Switch controllers>BetterYou have to be retarded. This is how I know you don't actually play games
>>732759983i dont give a fuck either way, youre the consolewar faggot. why dont you kill yourself instead of live in a world that has not-your-platform? wouldnt that relieve the pain you feel?
>>732760574>Better long-term life>If one battery pack dies, grab another charged one and set the other to charge; no wires or docking involved, & get instantly back to gamingYeah, it's superior
>>732759496I hate the noisy clicky dpad and also the buttons feel cheap and squeak when I press them. The controller just feels like I'm using some gamesir chinashit.
>>732759980Kys gyroshill
>>732759496idk it's really good actuallyI remember on old /v/ everyone stroked their cocks over the 360 controller whilst calling the PS3 one inferior. Then I was a Snoy and anal-pained about it, but whilst both controllers improved since then, the basic shape and feel is still relatively the same, and I think I have to agree now that the Xbox controller feels a bit better in your hands.I don't think the hate has to do with the controller itself and more carried-over hate for Microsoft.I just think Microsoft took such a massive reputation hit with the Xbone that they still never recovered, and now them trying to buy out the industry doesn't help the skepticism.
!!!!!!!!
>>732769690What are some GOOD controllers that let you replace the battery.
>>732768795I got a set of 2550 mAh batteries 5-6 years ago that came bound in pairs. At the beginning, could last a week or more. After years gaming with just the two pair, they still last me ... maybe 2-3 days if I'm on it literally all day? Highly recommend. I think you can even get up to 2800 mAh now is the highest I've seen
>>732769835Xbox one is very comfy friend, maybe if you actually played games you could actually test it out some time
>>732759496dpad is shit, previous Xbone version is better
I still use the same 360 controller I've had for about 20 years now, the console itself died years ago but I still use the controller every other day for PC gaming. Bought another 360 controller as backup 10+ years ago just in case the first broke, still haven't opened it.
>>732767764They have a patent on them, sure, but manufacturers can just pay them so they can use back buttons. The issue with the xbox controller is that sony and nintendo can't innovate since microsoft is holding them back. Anything sony and nintendo add won't be fully used by devs since that would exclude the xbox playerbase.
>>732759496Hate is a strong word. I don't hate anything on this planet besides black "people"
>>732759771>by default requires disposable batteriesuse eneloops
>>732767781Lmao
>>732759771I've had my Xbone pad since like 2018 and neither stick has any driftIt did develop sticky triggers tho but that was an easy fix, just removed the sticky foam pads
>>732770283come visit Yurop and you'll add gypsies to your list I'm sure
>>732770353Oh no brother, do not tell me you actually bought the Xbone
>>732759496I don't like how the shoulder buttons are flush with the side of the controller. The way I hold the controller leads to accidentally pressing them
>>732770476No, just a gamepad for PCMy last console was the PS2
>>732759646>>732759771>>732759694>>732759704The GameSAAR shills are not even subtle anymore.5 years - no drift and perfect compatibility out of the box.If this controller is too big for you then you've sissy hands smaller than a little girl.
>>732759496Because it's very poorly made. I was impressed by how bad it is compared to the PS3 and steam deck controller. Too bad I can't use the steam deck as a controller for my pc (it's heavy anyway) and regardless of whether I can use PS3 controller or not, I seem to have lost it.. so I'm stuck with this turd for now.
>>732770482So hold it differently then?
>>732769332the d-pad is a little improved but still clicky. the face buttons have the same issue as the xbone controller, sometimes they don't register and sometimes they register twice. thankfully that's rare. the triggers have the embarassing issue where the cushions slide out of place and you end up with clicky/sticky triggers. I can't believe they cheaped out on cushion glue. I got used to it but god dammit, microsoft...
>>732770572The way the controller is contoured makes the way I hold it feel the most comfortable. If I hold it differently, I can't easily press the shoulder buttons and triggers easily.Never had this issue with the 360 controller or any other console's controllers
>>732770572
>>732770131I'll have to get some of those then. the 1300 last a day if I'm playing all day.
>>732759496My 360 controller still worksThis broke in 3 yearsTechnology shouldn't devolve like that
>>732759496The controller is fine, it's very sturdy. The pinched in narrow orientation of the back grips does get tiring on the handsafter a while. The sticks are perfect.Face button are harsh if you're mashing.Shoulder buttons feel a bit heavy at times. No dpad can come close to PSP or Saturn but it's serviceable.Having to get batteries sucks. In contrast the Dual Sense's rubber nipple sticks are total ass. I always try to replace them with xbox sticks. The face buttons are great, softer than xbone.Shoulder buttons are better and the wider layout is more comfortable, but the controller does feel flimsy and rickety if you try to twist it.Dpad is fine.Touchpad is a gimmick.Being able to charge is a plus.I hate that it automatically asks to update and also changes audio through the controller whenever I plug it in though.I haven't ever gotten drift on these yet but dropped the xbox controller a few two many times so it clicks while rotating on one stick which is annoying but still works. If I ever get a new controller I'd probably get a hall effect one.A sony controller with xbox sticks is pretty great.
>>732759771>Because it consistently gets stick drift with less than 30 hours of usageI wasn't counting the hours but the one Xbone controller I bought for my PC started drifting before it was half a year old so I just got another Logitech.
>>732768406>buy 4 rechargeable AAs>put 2 in the charger>use 2 until they die>swap for instant recharge>never have to go wiredwhat's wrong with this?
>>732759496I am going to go ahead and say it. If you aren't at 100 wpm you're not a real gamer.
>>732768347That doesn't fix the issue of having to open it, grab new batteries, and swap them in. It even adds an extra step of having to put the old ones to a charger instead of just leaving them on the table to take out later.
>>732769016>I’d hate to play something like COD on PlaystationSays the xtard who needs the game to aim for him in shooters
>>732770261>but manufacturers can just pay them so they can use back buttonsand that's what microsoft did and it's why the elite controller is 200 bucks. I don't have an opinion on your other points but microsoft isn't at fault for the back button situation. blame the jews over at Scuf.
>>732771145Then just connect the controller via USB until you feel like changing them?
>>732759496More expensive, less durable, and fewer features than third party chinkshit alternatives. The only people still using these are mentally stuck in 2012 or something and they don't know it's basically the worst controller on the market
>>732771142bretty gud anon
>>732771375Finally, a real gamer is here. Good shit anon.
>>732769154The pro controller definitely is, and the joy cons, while not my first choice, are pretty good since you can put your hands wherever instead of having them attached to a single controller. They also have extra buttons. Both are infinitely better than the xbox controller since they have gyro.
>>732768795Eneloop Pros were the gold standard here for a long time I dunno if they're being shilled here by anons anymore.
>>732769265>Better long-term life It's a simple 15 minute repair job. It's not worth sacrificing the ability to recharge by just plugging it in to avoid that.>thr battery dies, plug it in; no swapping batteries or getting up involved, & don't even have to pauseYeah, it's superior
>>732771504well they're 2500 mAh which is better than what I have.
>>732769352Are you able to explain why exactly gyro is bad and shouldn't be an option?
>>732771286>it's why the elite controller is 200 bucksYeah that's not the reason. Microsoft is just greedy. There's plenty of cheap 3rd party controllers with back buttons.
>>732771492Might be true, but most people don't have the pro controller. But I really can't imagine that that controller could be better than the current Xbox controller. It literally looks like a cheaper quality knock-off.Just because of gyro? What do YOU use gyro for? I personally never liked using gyro (although I get more features = better), not sure how most normies feel about it.
>>732759697>>732759868>flydigi is supposed to be goodi have the vader 4 pro and like it a lot
>>732759496dpad is swapped with left analog
>>732770551>perfect compatibility out of the boxYou may have had a point in 2010, but that's not special anymore. Every controller works perfectly now via Steam Input if nothing else.
>>732771297At that point why not just have a controller with an internal battery?
>>732772186show me
>>732772583Because if you aren't lazy, you can swap out rechargeable batteries in like a minute then continue playing wirelessly. With an internal you HAVE to connect it to charge it
>>732772220>Just because of gyro?Yes.>What do YOU use gyro for?Aiming. It's on the same level as mouse in terms of accuracy. No need for aim assist anymore.
>>732766984I've never had a first party Xbox controller break down on me except for the inevitable stick drift. I've owned like 4 across 360 and Xbone, and they've all been sturdy and capable of surviving the occasional drop from the sofa.
>>732773017Did 360 controllers also have a problem with stick drift? Because I've never experienced it outside of the Switch. The Switch is fucking horrible. I'm down two controllers thanks to stick drift, and I don't even use the Switch much.
>>732759496>brown hands
>>732772639Gamesir nova, tenegaria, g7, kaleid, etc8bitdo pro 2, ultimate, etcI just went to their websites and sorted by price.
>>732772682>you can swap out rechargeable batteries in like a minuteAnd you can plug in a cable in 3 seconds. I'm still not convinced how swappable is supposed to be better.>With an internal you HAVE to connect it to charge itAnd with swappable you HAVE to swap the batteries.
>>732759496XInput is heavily outdated and SDL has eclipsed it in features. No gyro, no haptics, no adaptive triggers, fucking AA batteries in 2026, they're constantly trying to sell you on garbage gimmicks like paddles and minecraft skins, even Nintendo controllers are more advanced now and they're always behind the times.
>>732759496It normalized xinput, which is a garbage controller standard that doesn't support enough inputs for comprehensive key rebinding. I am aware this was the 360 controller, but Xbox has not meaningfully changed its controller in over 20 years. It consistently refuses to add gyro support, despite this being necessary to comfortably control 3D games more complex than PS1 era platformers..It was also obsolete in the mid-90s, despite being a mid 2000s controller.
>>732759496Shitty d-padFalls far behind chinkshit
>>732773549Depends on how much value you place on using the controller wirelessly. With rechargeable batteries you can get back to playing wirelessly faster than an internal battery. But if you don't care, sure get an internal battery or even a hardwired controller
>>732773549>And you can plug in a cable in 3 secondsYeah but then you have to deal with the cable. Can't put the controller where you want, have to sit a certain distance away, have to move stuff around to avoid tangle. It's garbage
>>732773561>gyro support>necessary to comfortably control 3D games more complex than PS1 era platformers. You mean FPS and exclusively FPS
>>732773682>>732773703I have no clue what you're doing with your controllers. I've never even noticed the cable and I play mostly plugged in while regularly using gyro.
>>732759697Got the 8bitdo aknes and it's a great alternative
>>732773759>You mean FPS and exclusively FPSMore like any game that has aiming as a mechanic. That's probably a good 60-75% of all games.
>>732759496its the best
>>732773759Unless it's fixed camera or the camera is competently programmed, games other than FPS will still ask you to manipulate the camera, and without gyro that means taking your fingers off the face buttons. This isn't 5th or 6th gen, where any camera manipulation sort of expected you to stand in place and move the camera with your movement input or something jank like that, a lot of games will really just expect you to nanny the camera 24/7.

I used a 360 controller on my PC for years and fucking loved it until the shoulder buttons gave out on me and don't click anymore.Does the series x feel the same?
>>732774259yeah they do that too, but blowing on them works haha, use compressed air on the seams
i bought a series x controller (like in op pic) and just bought some kind of chink wireless rechargable battery for like $10. it works great. i just set it on the wireless charging stand like every few days and thats it.i was looking at the vader 4 pro but all the sellers were from aliexpress or something and i dont trust not getting ripped off
i have a Series X controller and a 8bitdo Ultimate. the Xbox controller feels better but i can't say i recommend it for the extra cost if i were to be shopping for a controller todayalso picrel is better than having to charge the controller. i end up using the 8bitdo plugged in sometimes but it takes 5 seconds to swap battery packs for the xbox controller
>>732774956also i've had the xbox controller ~4 years and i have no stick drift or issues, and i've used it for at least a few thousand hours

>>732774259>Does the series x feel the same?no, they've been very different since the xbox one. it's the first thing you notice actually. I've broken a couple of RBs on the 360 (purely my fault), none so far on xbone/series.

i dont know honestly
>>732775183Start lifting you weak pussy
>>732759496Because this board is overran by Valve cultists who swear up and down that a controller needs gyro and fucking touchpads. All while ignoring the original steam controller sold like dog shit.Less than 1% of console gamers use gyro for aiming and most of those people are playing Mario kart or splatoon. That number is even less on PC. No esports team is rolling up with a steam controller.Since the Xbox controller is the best and most wildly used controller on pc. Just likes Linuxfags do with windows; they have to create this negative discourse so what they use seems superior. The controller damn near perfect. It's cheap, repairable and works universally even outside of windows or steam.Have your preference but it's the number 1 used controller on pc for a reason
>>732759496gaming is full of poorfags who have to resort to chinese bootlegs
>>732780190ingest your psychotropics
>>732777949That controller released half a decade ago and it's the newest one.I have a feeling you've never actually owned or even used the controller in OPs pic. Also retard did you not consider the fact that controllers are in fact not consoles so Microsoft can still manufacture them irregardless if there's an Xbox console on the shelves. They sell controllers separately, ya know? Also I'm purposely ignoring your retarded "outdated" statement. I don't need another retard telling me how shoving shit like gryo and hall effect sticks is needed. Go buy the 90 dollar switch 2 pro controller if you want all that bullshit. The average person doesn't use those features nor care. The Xbox controller is the Honda of gamepads.
>>732773259They did. Both 360 controllers I had eventually developed loose joysticks and drift
>>732781034>loose joysticks>360 controllerDo you people not know what wear and tear is? You gonna bitch about your 05 civic leaking oil too?
>>732773259nta but I had a 360 controller develop drift on the right stick(which, in theory, should be the less used one) within a month of getting it. Ended up gutting it to repair a much older 360 controller that had some deadzone but was a lot more tolerable to use(they were both wired and the wire on the older one had given out). Then I ended up just buying a ds4 and haven't had to get another controller since(this was like a decade ago).
>>732775291>steam inputCrazy how little shit people give valve for having such a huge oversight with steam input. The fact that you can't use the adaptive triggers or whatever in the steam version of ghost of tshisuma but it works fine with the epic store version with steam closed. There's some bullshit with steaminput and they honestly should just open source it at this point. Cause pic related is fucking stupid and it's not Sony's issue.Their shit works perfectly outside of steam.
>>732781632>Then I ended up just buying a ds4 and haven't had to get another controller since(this was like a decade ago). What 3rd world country are you from? My guess is south America or south east Asia.I sorta feel bad for you. That dpad on the ps4 (especially after a decade) the fucking gamecube controller dpad is probably more than accurate. Please just try any controller released after Obama left office. Technology has gotten better.
dae unironically like the dpad? my only issue is that it's noisy as fuck. clicky clack clicky clack.
>>732781771do haptics and other ps5 controller features work properly?
>>732782000the buttons are loud as fuck too so i'm used to it, but yeah i like it a lot too. i don't play a lot that primarily uses dpad though but it is nice for typical modern game usage
>>732759496Because it's the best./thread
>>732781959I live in Ohio, dude. And I don't generally play games where you actually really 100% need the d-pad other than as a shortcut. And if I'm playing older 2d games I have a SNES clone I can use.ds4 is comfortable, doesn't drift and doesn't have a perceptible deadzone. there is zero need or want to spend $60+ to "upgrade" to a newer controller.
>>732782026No they don't. Unless you disable steam input. On top of that even for the controller to work you need to wire it in. Only for steam games. As I said steam input with Sony controllers is a shit show.
>>732782589-t.Pic relatedIn all seriousness, just try a new controller. They're literally upgrades to your current one.You can love your old 720p tv from 2014 but TVs have improved since then.
>>732775890The catch is you falling for the age-old Jewish trick of thinking higher cost = better quality. In no world is it reasonable to pay 200 bucks for a piece of plastic when you know that shit costs pennies to make.
>>732782589>ds4 is comfortable, doesn't drift and doesn't have a perceptible deadzoneWhat the fuck lol
>>732782734i tried to play dark souls prepare to die on pc over a decade ago with a ps controller and got very annoyed at how difficult it was to get working properlynice to see nothing has changed
>>732759496No gyro.
>>732759496Because a lot of people pretend it's the best controller when there's at least like 50 better alternatives to itIt's not durableIt doesn't have many things, it's dragging back features that should actually be standardIt's internally badly designedThe charging kit is sold separatelyWireless latency is midFace buttons are garbageThe d-pad is overrated as fuck, there's definitely better optionsAnalogs drift the same wayDurability wise it's nothing special compared to your average gamesaaaaaaaar stuffEven battery life isn't amazingThe same ergonomics are present in 70% of gamepads out there nowMost newer gamepads have a xinput mode so there's no excuse about "it just working" anymoreThere is really nothing remarkable about this pad but it keeps being pushed like it's perfect, it's like that Ikea chair.
>>732759496because it doesn't have muh gyro
>>732782945>nooooooooooo you can't use something that's (sort of old) (even though it's still being produced and sold as new) (and people are still buying them)!>you have to buy something NEW! (that doesn't actually provide meaningful features or perceptible improvements)>YOU MUST CONSOOOOOOOOOOM!fucking retard.>>732783113Maybe I just got one from a good batch fuck if I know. It's not like I don't use it, I've had to replace the rubber pad for the face buttons something like three times, the face buttons enough that you can feel the double shot impression and the battery is starting to show its age but the actual sticks are extremely stable.
Unironically if you've never used an Xbox series x controller. Just do it.Not every game you play will need gyro or whatever. They're cheap and highly repairable if you do have one shit out on you for whatever reason. You're missing out on a solid gaming accessory. You deserve it, treat yourself. And yes I'm unironically an Xbot. I'm shilling the controller cause I just think it's neat. Especially with the chat pad.
>>732783775Wait a minute you're using a controller from 2014 and have never even considered that maybe modern controllers are better in some way?Guess this answers OPs question.People like you who never even fucking used one are the people hating on the controller lmao. Good job dork you must be fun at parties. And the fact the words "I tried them out and just didn't click with em" never got typed out on your keyboard says alot about you and why this board is in a dogshit state filled with miserable fucks like you.
>>732759496Mine just keeps randomly disconnecting even when plugged in with USB>>732759697I have an MSI GC30 V2. It works great but the rumble is way too strong and I don't know a way around that except to just turn rumble off in every game.
>>732784112oh so you're just a schizo trying to shill console wars. sasuga.go jump into a ravine.
>>732780582>The average person doesn't use those features nor care. The average person is retarded. Gyro is objectively an improvement and not using it is equivalent to purposefully handicapping yourself.
>>732759496I've never used one. My 360 controller still works and I bought a PS4 and PS5 so I use those controllers on PC too. I was going to pick up whatever revision Microsoft was supposed to release last year but I'll probably just grab Valve's instead now.
>>732780190>Valve cultists who swear up and down that a controller needs gyro and fucking touchpadsWhy do you think those aren't needed?>Less than 1% of console gamers use gyro for aimingBecause most games don't support it you retard. And you have microsoft to thank for that for refusing to evolve their controller past 2005.>No esports team is rolling up with a steam controllerEsports teams only care about results. Learning a new input method that's equivalent to mouse cripples you for months for no benefit. No one's saying gyro's better than mouse, but it is infinitely better than sticks.>the Xbox controller is the bestKek. No the fuck it's not.>The controller damn near perfectLmao.>it's the number 1 used controller on pc for a reasonAnd that reason is that back in the day the xbox controller was the only controller that consistently worked on PC, so people just stuck with it. It has nothing to do with quality.
>>732784150Try this. Worst case scenario buy a new one and do the old basketball American trick and return your broken one. Also everyone knows those famous console war Xbots who play Ace combat 6 on their series x. I can go on and post pics of my switch 2 ps4 and 4090 but I'm good. If you anyone has questions about the controller I'm down to help and inform. Fun fact the chat pad's keyboard can be used in games too like for wsad exactly like a normal one.
The gyro fags are here. Abandon thread. They're the trannies/Linuxfags of controller discussion. >I don't care if I'm a minority and it'll raise the cost for everyone add this that caters to my small group>no it'd not unpopular people are just dumb! You people need a hobby and therapy. An Xbot console accused of consolefagging because he suggested a controller.Lmao even
>>732783809>Unironically if you've never used an Xbox series x controller. Just do it. Why? I already have a better controller (Dualsense) and will get an even better one in a few months (Steam Controller). I have no need for an outdated piece of shit.>Not every game you play will need gyro or whateverNo, but many do and I see no reason to get a second controller for those that don't when the one I have works just as well.>They're cheapNot really. Cheaper, sure, but they're still like 60 bucks. A lot of better 3rd party ones for cheaper.>You're missing out on a solid gaming accessory.I already have a solider gaming accessory. I have no need for a worse one.>You deserve it, treat yourself.Ew. No thanks.>And yes I'm unironically an Xbot.In 2026? Lmao. That's just pathetic.>Especially with the chat pad.Trackpads are better t b h.
