I played through cold steel 1-4 these past 6 months and I soon plan to start reverie, how is the new difficulty? I played all 4 on nightmare and thought it was difficult(Well except 1, and 4 endgame which were a joke) but reasonable except for the occasional HP bloat.

Difficulty is fine if you did the other 4 on nightmare. There's some bosses you got to beat in a certain number of turns or whatever for max points, but it wasn't that bad from what I remember.

Outside the true final boss the game is really not hard, which is a shame because the shitton of characters and items that the endless dungeon gameplay gets you is really fun to play with but there's no real purpose in doing so.
