Why do i find games with "mixed" or "mostly positive" better than many "very positive" or "overwhelmingly positive" reviews? It always seem people bitching about minor stuff and giving the game a negative review like going through a launcher or the game being "too easy" or shit like that. Does anyone else is like that?

simple answer: if you don't hear "11/10 masterpiece" from a random redditor then you start off with barely any expectations so if the game is actually half-decent then you are pleasantly suprised and you may enjoy it even more than you would have otherwise

You're a contrarian and brown.

Yes.
When I see a game has mixed or mostly positive reviews, I'll always check the negative reviews to see what they're saying. Pretty often, especially for old games, they're criticizing a technical aspect of the game that can be fixed with a mod. Or they're criticizing performance because they chose to set graphics settings to ultra.

Two possibilities:
1. You're a contrarian, or
2. You have decent taste. The thing about popular games, especially in Steam's flawed review system, is that they are made to be appreciated by as many people as possible. They are made to maximize accessibility and have as low a risk of consumers being frustrated as possible. This means that the end resulted is often very watered down. Think of paintings: a very generic landscape can be appreciated by the masses, but it might not push the medium forwards, nor be very impactful on anyone; on the other hand, a deep, abstract painting can have a huge impact on the person who actually "gets it", but the masses will say that it's pretentious and ugly.

The Sahel region is not a country, just like the balkans aren't a country. They're all one unified nation.
