>Influences a decade+ of internet culture and memes>20 years old and still gets new content semi-regularly >Runs on a potato>Regularly cracks 50,000 active players>Is still somehow extremely fun and never feels stale>Outlives Overwatch twiceTfw there will never be another game like this
>>732776678>Regularly cracks 50,000 active playersI love tf2, but...

Your kind great-grand uncle from Argentina passes away peacefully and leaves his entire of 1 billion US$ will to you with the only condition you make the next greatest class shooter. What are your ideas for Team Fortress 3?
>>732776678>Outlives Overwatch twiceThis is just delusional. OW still gets more players on any given day. You’re about as delusional as meleefags.
>outlives Overwatch twicei still don't get why people say this. Overwatch hits a new peak player count every couple of months, tf2 has been stuck at less than 50k for like 10 years. And it's not even 50k players. Steam charts says 42k are "playing" the game, but the amount of players actually in servers is less than 10k. Less than 1/4th of the "playerbase" is actually playing the game at all.
>>732781991This, anyone who isn't a complete TF2 fanatic can install the game right now and see how few community servers there are full of actual players compared to when there actually were 50k people playing tf2 in the early 2010s
>>732782173Everyone is on casual; it killed community servers. Uncle Dane and Skial had to shut down half their servers because the bot crisis ended.
One of the most delusional fanbases ive seen
>>732782781But enough about the blizzard fanbase.

>>732782642You can see the casual servers on the community server browser as well, you just can't join them without using the matchmaker. It was never a secret how many people are actually playing this game.
