It's OOT pandering for the people who whined about the era of toon Link, but it's pretty shallow. I didn't hate it at the time, but it definitely didn't do much to impress me. Did feel good to return to that timeline of Hyrule and I guess that's what matters.

Wolf sections are a snore, Twili are sidelined for Ganondorf returning (which WW did way better ), most dungeons are memberberries, horse combat created just for one setpiece in the first third.
