How much better would the GTA games be if they got rid of waypoints?
>>
You know you can try it out yourself, right?

The games weren't designed to be played without waypoints though. You aren't given directions to your goal other than the waypoint.

GTA6 should ditch waypoints and rely strictly on directions.

Why can't GTA just be better?

It's impossible, brit boomers wouldn't allow this
>>
>>732782067

Basically a no-hud run. They are based and I did it with IV and V, but I had to rely on previous playthrough knowledge. Proper strict directions would be cool though, but not gonna happen.

What the fuck are waypoints? The dot on the map or the whole way marked out for you?
Because without the first how will you know what the objective is?

>Go kill this guy, he lives with his friend, you'll have to follow the friend home. He drives a red comet. Here's a picture of his license plate. He'll be at this club.
>Get there and search for car.
>find it and wait for him to leave
>follow, but no blips or markers.
>If he leaves your actual sight, you actually lose him and fail.
It can work, but low-attention-spans that make up over 50% of humanity now will be filtered. They'll never do it.
