AI can't make good gam-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2mcLnSMPd8
>>732785791e.
>>732785791actually looks sort of neat
>>732785941No, it really doesn't.
>ai can even make better toon schizocore games than troons
>>732785791buy a fucking ad
>>732785791So now we take random games and claim AI made them?
>>732785791Where exactly does it state that its made using AI?And how much of it is AI.Because i am pretty sure if the entire game was made by AI it would not need a kickstarter.
>>732786287>>732786338>falling for the engagement bait even on 4chanSad.
>>732786338If you make a good game using AI there is no reason to clarify this anyway. Just rake in the money and let your accusers look like retards. Indie devs are a thing of the past.
>>732786528im only interested if it uses ai. i want trannies to kill themselves. i dont really care about dark toon psycho slop
>>732785791>DUDE DRUGS AND MURDER
>>732786528Why aren't you doing that? Are you aware of why you will never do that?
>Upside: AI could be used to easily construct a game and get rich>Downside: Easiness just makes me feel lazierWhat do I do guys?
>>732786853This is probably the thing that causes every AI game that comes out to be total dogshit
>>732786853AI doesn't make the hardest part any easier
>>732786853Just start somewhere even if you can't program or draw. Write design documents or whatever. Maybe nothing comes of it, but at least you made a good thought exercise that could spiral into something positive.
>>732786853Companies with infinite resources can't make good games that sell. Why wouod ai automatically let people do it instead?
Companies are going to use indie games for AI acceptance, you're not going to tell a poor teenager from a third world country who just wants to support his family, ‘FUCK YOU AISLOPPER, HIRE REAL ARTISTS, PROGRAMMERS,’ right?
>>732785867fpbp /thread
>>732787205Also, the more you use AI, the more it trends towards a generic middle ground, just from how the technology works. AI creations can stand out now because they're still a novelty, but that window is already closing
>>732786853The real problem is you always start out thinking you'll just clean up the AI errors, and eventually you stop.
>>732787383>you're not going to tell a poor teenager from a third world country who just wants to support his family, ‘FUCK YOU AISLOPPER, HIRE REAL ARTISTS, PROGRAMMERS,’ right?I don't think you know the people in this place very well.
>>732785791this isn't ai
>>732787383Let's be honest here. Poor people doing their best are exactly the ones who'll get targeted in anti-AI discussions. The big corporations will always get away with it while anyone who potentially needed it are the ones who will be left suffering the stigma. The middle class always punches down.
>>732786853Right now the best AI can do is rip of the most bare-bones simplistic genres.Like Vampire survivors clones walking simulators or games that are just numbers go up or down whit graphics.Anything more comlex takes more work to just make sense of nonsense code than it would have took to just write the code yourself.
>>732787383I won't completely disregard a game if the dev used AI tools, but at point he has blatantly cut corners, which is a bad first impression. If the much discussed 'soul' comes from adding an almost unnecessary amount of details and unique personal touches, AI is the exact opposite of that
Why are AIbros such obnoxious attention whores?
>>732788036To be fair, most indie games cut corners. They all have art that would've been considered developer art 10 years ago. Most are abusing the most simple to code effects and sell super well. Nearly every element synonymous with modern indie games is one of laziness. I honestly feel like Undertale started it although I could be wrong. Nowadays, anyone could make their own Undertale in a long night or two. This doesn't stop the flood however, as most people simply don't bother with making games. It is like programming and art in general, your average normalfag just thinks it is something that only some will understand and doesn't bother. It is a shame because I feel like cheaper games could be a good method of self expression similar to making little doodles. But instead they are the "peak" indie games that get shilled everywhere. I doubt AI will even change this despite making everything even more accessible.
>>732788919>anyone could make their own Undertale in a long night or twoThis just isn't true. You either have a misunderstanding of what Undertale is or what game development is like. Most people's Undertale, no matter how much time was used, would be much closer to something like Heartbound
>>732789239I didn't mean it would stick with a bunch of people in the same way or be popular. I do kind of feel like Toby Fox just got lucky though.
>>732789507I don't think he just got lucky, and I'm not even a big fan of Undertale. The game's graphics are simple, but they're enough, since the game's presentation is mostly based on music. The style also allows assets from multiple artists fit together. It speaks of smart planning and having a realistic scope, and I think achieving those is rarer and more valuable than almost any other skill in indie game development
>>732789239>anyone could make their own Undertale in a long night or twodo you know that undertale yellow took years?
>>732786598New generations of trannies will be AI-native, and you 100% will play a game made by oneWat nou?
>>732791216I will fight like I always have.
