The issue being--and usually what their rebuttal ends up being--is the fact that a good chunk of artists and developers and such on twitter do act precisely in that fashion, and they can pull up example to affirm such things.Problem is because they're twitter refugees they're too retarded to realize that this is entirely because of the website they're on and how it incentivizes ragebaiting for engagement and being used as portfolio/means to get commissions. That this is true for literally anyone on that site, as even the most mundane tweets are seen as excuses to plug shit because algorithm and what not, and so you see the behavior regardless of whether they're a creative or not.So they go to other websites with this fucked up worldview of participating in a community and view it entirely as transactional instead of reciprocal.
