Playing through this series for the first time as an Ace Attorney fan after being told this was similar and I'd like it. That's like comparing a prime steak to a half eaten Big Mac on the floor so far.The story is UNIMAGINABLY stupid (what the fuck is up with this apparently all powerful corrupt academy that can lobotomize people and start wars?) and the tone cannot decide if it wants to be a wacky cartoon or an edgy gorefest with cussing and sex jokes. Just a very confusing experience. Am I supposed to feel scared? Laughing? Sad? Cheering for the corny lessons about friendship that are at odds with the sordid vibe? Even the game doesn't seem to know. By the time it got to "oh by the way this teenage girl started a cult that ended the world via terrorist attacks and brainwashed people that wanted to bang her corpse" I was just OUT, man. And I understand UDG has a groping minigame? Are they nuts?Also fuck off with the constant gratuitous upskirting. Have some fucking class, this isn't a porn game.Side note, didn't appreciate the latter part of 2-5 and 2-6 veering hard left into DDLC horror territory, I did not sign up for a horror game and that kind of UI interface fuckery gives me the creeps.
