This series tonally hasn't been the same since chapter 3. You can feel it in everything. The environments don't feel like rotting Willy Wonka anymore, they feel like SCP or faux-Wonderland. The story takes itself way too seriously for the premise, when before Mommy was at least as silly as you could expect a giant toy to be while still having a sad edge. The monsters as well aren't as fun. Huggy, Mommy, Boxy to a lesser degree all had their own still. They're stretchy and extremely contortable. Contortability seems to have been a feature of them and it felt natural to see their faces stretch and bodies smear. Now the new characters feel so rigid and lifeless. If you bend them they will break and not have that same effect with Huggy.

Honestly. The prototype design is growing on me. Now that I realize this isn't suppose to be a supper dark edgy twisted game and what it was always ment to be which is a horror mascot game for kids and young teens then it's alright. The impact of real dead bodies in the game also seems to hit harder with the less gory blood splatter, guts and dead guys all over the place.I guess I can't be a hater. I've accepted what it is and not what I want it to be. I'm simply not the audience and making it edgy would ruin the vibe they are going for.
So is the protag actually immortal? The prototype kills you and you get the game over screen but in-canon and survive unharmed.
