Can't bring those progression items in first act. Last run with the leech was almost perfect but Dybbuk possessed ranger and killed my tank who carried leech. Runs with Throbbing Gristle just feels insane. Maybe I should try to unlock new classes first (like butcher or druid) or breed cats with at least 7 in Constitution? Or try necro-solo with Gristle?

Is anyone else pissed that the game doesn’t take itself seriously? Isaac had goofiness and poopy but it also was dark and serious at times, just look at some of the endings. Meanwhile Mewgenics is all goofiness, all the time. Yeah you play as Isaac’s mom, but the revelation doesn’t really hit home because AFAIK nothing is really revealed about Isaac, his trauma, Isaac’s dad, and any number of other topics from Isaac fans want to see explored. You just play as Isaac’s mom and outside of some Dr Beanie dialogue if you refuse to detonate the bomb at the end I really don’t see anything that moves the lore forward in a meaningful way

cool combo I found though don't have all the right skills to really pull it off. basically shoulder check on a tank or anything with a knockback on the base skill. then have a butcher with the auto hook. get them side by side and anytime you knock something back then they'll get hooked back to then get knocked back etc. there is another butcher passive that gives damage and bleed to the hook so this can get nasty
