The fucked up part of HUNK's death is the fact that it's treated as "well, that happened". The game treats him like some random minor boss that Leon had to get through rather than the fact that they killed a character who's been a part of the series for almost 30 years. They couldn't even give him a sick climactic fight. It's just spamming parry like Krauser's remake fight and then Leon chops his neck and that's that. I know HUNK was never really a major character but it still feels incredibly disrespectful to kill a favorite side character in such a weak manner.
