Well lots of people have played it but they have changed some things since last year. Like before you used stamina for normal attacks but they removed that since people were getting filtered.

Basically so far people say that the controls are unusual so there's a steep learning curve compared to most modern games and a very high skill ceiling. I just say it could feel bad since I haven't played it. I've noticed the game has some magnitism and maybe that feels bad or something, idk I think it'll be fi

I haven't seen anything concrete about that but the controls are weird because there's just so much. Basically it's a retard filter since there are so many abilities you can use at all times, but because controllers don't have that many buttons and they didn't build a system like DD, you'll have to memorize tons of shit and then press weird combos to do everything.

Playing with KBM might be better but I'm personally happy since my gamepad has a bunch of extra buttons I can bind stuff to lol.

But yeah basically you have your bow, magic attacks, equipped weapon, and wrestling moves all available at all times, and maybe even your item like the magical rope. So there are a lot of 1+1 button presses or buttons you have to hold or 1+1+1 presses to do other things. Then there are movement based contextual attacks, like when you do a grab it changes depending on your orientation to the enemy and the direction you were pulling the stick in. It sounds awesome to me.

reminds me of ass creed ragnarok where there was some depth to the combat system but you ended up doing heavy attack spam coz heavy weapons broke stance easily when you used heavy attack and you were constantly getting swarmed with enemies

I was a bit worried about the enemy AI after seeing some of those webms, but if you're telling me the combat is actually hard then this might be the first game I buy on launch in ages.
