I just had to slowly amass coins for my riding map by gettings scraps (almost never happened) and doing the CEs. Then you get the riding map, and if you're even a little bit slow or AFK or take any detour whatsoever, you still don't make it to the FATE before it dies, so you literally need to act exactly like a bot to be able to participate in OC because there's only ever one FATE up at a time. And forget about pots, that shit is retarded. I think I've only ever gotten like 3 pots, I don't even go for them anymore because they never choose me. Everything about OC is a massive step backwards. And I like Bozja's potions and actions way more than the phantom jobs, which I never in a million years thought would be the case, but it is.

They’ve flipped the script with this one, apparently, and have it updating your position as soon as you get launched, but that still is within the overall framework of how this game handles forced movements. We as players never “travel”, the animations for stuff like this is solely for our benefit. The client doesn’t care, it has already calculated where we’re going and that’s the only position it cares about. The in-between stage is fake.still good to know, regardless, because it means as a doom tower you should absolutely be cognizant of the fact that a wind person could easily be landing near you and take the time to aim that line in a direction that will absolutely for sure not risk hitting anyone, but that’s not hard to do. I tried to go for a M10S reclear (we'll do M11S at the usual raid hour today so I wanted to at least eke out a book) for about 2 hours, which had mixed results. One group had horrendous mitigation - I don't think I should be taking lethal AoE damage as a caster with 785 ilvl from the initial Insane Air 2 cast - the next group just had lots of sloppy mistakes, with my favourite being that accursed fire cone on Insane Air 2.
