The platforming is really easy and the enemies are all grounded or stationary so they're hardly even obstacles since you can achieve so much air time. There also aren't enough options to go fast, especially if the game is going to try and encourage it with medals. Getting the medals just comes down to, like you said, spamming the dive, there's nothing else to it because the game has no momentum to it.I kind of hate to be so down on it, it's someone's first project, the character is cute, I think there's probably lots of potential for fun movement with the elemental bombs, but if it's in the game the demo doesn't showcase it at all. There's nothing offensive about the game but it just has nothing interesting going for it on the gameplay side from what the demo shows.
