I've been planning on playing all the Silent Hill games, and the Resident Evil games, I got up to the office building in SH1 before ai lost my save moving OSes and forgot about it. Was wondering if anyone suggests playing the remake over the original Silent Hill 2? Also I think I'm going to play the original Resident Evil, even tho the HD remake of RE1 is superior, the Remake of 2 is better, and the remake of 4 is better, only 3 is worse, we'll see how they play.

>>733637229I always prefer the original vision. The only time I would consider a remaster or remake over the original if it's simply too clunky to play that it quickly becomes tedious. Also the original RE games are great. RE1 remake is the closest to the original so you could play one character in the OG and then the other in remake, however 2, 3 and 4 remakes change too much that I would recommend playing both.
