I mean even if you say you've already invested too much money (ie Marathon) you can always just switch lanes and try to turn the game into something else. Delay it and try to turn it into a single player story or something. The main point was Save the World campaign with the BR just being some add on shit that just happened to be lightning in a bottle and that's what all these retards don't seem to grasp. The loss in already incurred and it becomes a write off for the firm or publisher or whoever gave the money to the developer in the first place.
