>every stage goes on forever>game keeps pleading with you to use the defining gimmick>knockback is the worst it's ever been>mega man sounds like a bitchThis isn't one of the good mega man games, is it? Because I'm not enjoying it at all.
megaman 1-8 are great gamesmegaman 5 on game boy is a good game as well

>>733636884Alright ill bite...why arent 9 and 10 good anon?
>>733635803only megaman game i have not beaten, i dont know why i just dont like it, this and battle network 4
>>733635803Some people like the longer stages. It wants you to use the Double Gear gimmick, but the game is balanced so that a skilled player doesn't need it. So either get good or use the tools it gives you. Incidentally, the stages are also designed so that properly using special weapons will make your run a lot easier as well, but buster only runs are still more than doable. There's an item that reduces knockback. Either purchase it or quit complaining. The only thing the game REALLY lacks is the ability to completely disable the Double Gear system, but even if you do use it by accident, you can just, like, turn it off.
>>733635803>>every stage goes on foreverIt's not forever. But I unironically love that the stages are long. >>game keeps pleading with you to use the defining gimmickPleading with you? If anything it keeps challenging you not to use it. It taunts you with opportunities to use the gimmick, and asks you if you're man enough to get it done anywayBesides. The gimmick is cool. So it's fun both to use or not to use it. >>knockback is the worst it's ever beenEh. The 3D visuals and trying to intuit the size and edges of the "tiles" can be annoying but you get used to it.>>mega man sounds like a bitchUse the Japanese voices for crying out loud. I fucking love MM11.
>>733635803Its actually a top 3 game in the series
I just don't like 4, 6, 8 and 10. I can't even make a thing of it because I do like 2.
>>733635803>mega man sounds like a bitchWhy does this matter?
>>7336375409 is only acceptable because of Splash Woman
I don't mind the gears and the right stick select means each special weapon is a button press away so I like 11.
>>733637540made him cry like an anime fan on prom night
>>733639803>but the game is balanced so that a skilled player doesn't need itIt really isn't, especially for the boss fights in particular since just like every other Mega Man game, you cannot practice them and will be booted back to the beginning of the stage if you die too many times, and the bosses themselves use the Double Gear system and have even more insane patterns than prior Mega Man bossesTrying to beat stages without Double Gear or E-Tanks on superhero is almost certainly not the intended challenge; I've spent like 10 hours on such a run and not even got halway, and that's like 3 times the length a normal run would take
>>733644061These games are never INTENDED to be beaten without all the extras. They're just balanced so that if you're good enough, you can do without them. It's not impossible to beat MM11 with just the buster and no tools, special weapons or upgrades, it's just really hard. If you practice enough, you can do it eventually.
>>733644061When it launched I did my whole first playthrough without using it at all(or using RM weapons). It's pretty fun with it though, more so combing the power one with the RM weapons cause it makes shit even more broken than MM9's weapons. The time slow one is meh, but it helps shit on minibosses.
This is probably the best overall one. A game with flaws but overall the strongest entry.
