I like the idea of these things but the extra cheap batteries actually do scare me a bit. I bought a 40$ one a while back and it does ps1 and below just fine, it is crazy how many people just collect these things instead of actually playing anything and shills abound in every discussion thread. I got the Odin 2 Portal and have zero complaints, screen looks great, can play switch and 2D steam games, feels just like holding a xbox controller. It really sucks that the Steam Deck has a dogshit screen to scam people into thinking it performs better than it does or else I would have gotten it instead.
