It's more fluid than Y3 and only by nature of being like, the ninth fuckin Dragon Engine game so at this point they oughta be smoother. And it's still the worst Kiwami yet unless Essence of Kiwami and Majima Everywhere in K1 pissed you off that badly, the worst Kiryu moveset, the worst mechanics besides no block bounce after that was rid of ages ago, and arguably the weakest Dragon Engine game in terms of.. everything since 6's shortcomings. And 6 still looks better. It doesn't matter how smooth it plays, this makes the OG Yakuza 3 (without accounting for the Remastered bugs that broke too much shit) look like a quantified masterpiece by comparison despite its own flaws. And they didn't even take the time to try to unfuck inherent weirdness and issues from the original, or even exacerbated them in the process.That it's at best a mediocre to average entry says a lot about the formula's strengths to still be able to not be rancid dogshit in spite of all the retarded decisions, but that does not spare it of criticism, both on its own legs, and as a replacing remake that didn't need to be.
