But I played this on Normal because I had just played Oath In Felghana, which is actually moderately challenging on Normal, and I blundered into the level 99 Super Challenge Optional Boss at level 86 and still won, and that was the literal only time I had to use a healing item. If you can't refund it, maybe bump it up to Hard and you'll get a teensy bit of actual engagement out of it.

An Adol solo game would be a breathe of fresh air, but what is REALLY needed is actual "dungeons" as levels, instead of little more than beachheads full of bloodbags to style on. The only thing resembling a real dungeon in Ys 10 was the Seabed Temple. The final fucking """"dungeon""" was a way too long series of fucking gray floors with trash mobs, followed by one of the most asinine final boss fights in the history of video games. I just started playing Ys games, finished 1&2, on Origin now. I'm kinda sad the Origin style of game only lasts three entries, I'm not sure if I'll like Ys 8-10 as much, though 7 looks fun. Do you guys think they'll change gameplay systems up again in a Ys 11 or do you think they'll keep sticking with the current style?
