My skill is code so my games are usually done if you run them in a command line and dont expect any graphics at all.Like I am imgining it as like a vertical slice, or vertical square in this case. Imagine we got 4 rooms, all arenas where enemies respawn after a time, all the arenas are connected by corridors which are jumping, movement and brain puzzles with some light enemies between. The dahaka is now an actual spawned entity that follows you. You can run away from him but that will bring the least breathing room, you can out puzzle him by getting him trapped in the puzzles which he is extremely slow in or you can stun him by combat. If he pops up in the arena you have to evade him all fight since he needs to be focus damaged to be stunned. If I imagine it with the skillset the dahaka has in PoPWW then he can do tentacles and teleport short distances. That already adds a bit to balancing.

The big unbeatable nemesis who appears would be tied to story events like how ww does it, with the catch that you progressively get stronger, so he won't instakill you but you still gotta leg it the fuck away from him, later you'll be able to even deflect some of his attacks giving you more room to find an escape, until you become equals in combat. Shame I'm only good at beating my dick to porn and prompting with ai.

Maybe less PoP movement and more of a freeflowing style where you can do several styles of movement to get past. Combat very much a single sword with hack and slash with easy targets that go down in 3hits max. Obviously I need to uncopyright the dahaka. Maybe turn him into a some form of solid slime giant that roams slowly with you never really able to catch up to his power but always able to fight until you solve the big puzzle that then unlocks the boss fight against him? Simple but for now that does the job. Not like I have any code yet done.
