why the fuck are they even doing a remake instead of a remaster? they could just upscale the textures for zoomers using AI, make movement and combat smoother and add cut content and they would make millions, instead they completely remade the game, made it soulless because one of the great things about gothic was it's artstyle, even playing it now I feel more immersed than any of the new games, you don't really care about shitty textures because they all fit together perfectly. instead we will get unreal 5 slop, artstyle is nothing like the original, you don't feel the grim atmosphere at all, it;s another fantasy shitty rpg with even more wooden mechanics than the original. literally what the fuck are they thinking?
