KH2 is a kino game. I remember playing through it with my friend while on vacation with his family. Building gummi ships, all the boss fights. The cringey mickey scenes. Its an experience. Fantastic game, I'll never forget that summer.

Also the Tangled world was 100% phoned in. Even then there's blatant misopportunities, for example Oogie Boogie getting the artificial heart that lets him control Heartless, but he fails to properly use it. Then the cutscene after Maleficent just randomly grants Riku the ability to control Heartless. Why not have Riku get the artificial heart from Oogie's body or something that way that plot point could naturally go into the main story? The best you're going to get with the Final Fantasy aspect is Hades interacting with Cloud or Auron, and even then that kinda gets dropped rather quickly. It doesn't help that the FF stuff gets phased out as the series goes on except for Moogles and cameos from random enemies like Cactuars and Bombs.Fuck that shit, if you're going to be autistic then go all the way. Have Gilgamesh appear in a Sword in the Stone world looking for Excalibur. Let Kefka and Dr. Facilier team up causing chaos together.
