The music is good. The story does make me feel something in each "peak", which proves all the cutscenes were good for something. The levels are okay, and homing and running mechanics have a nice "snap" to them. I don't know what to tell you.

The story if awful. Elise gets kidnapped 10 times.

It's a little hokey, but ppl miss the idea of the arc, where Sonic is the free spirit and Elise is the monarch, and you see that with each capture of Eggman, she learns a bit more from Sonic and becomes more adventurous herself, and then thanks him at the end, for letting her be happy and stop worrying.Shadow's story is just about reaffirming who he is, when all is turned against him, which is powerful in that he's found his inner self and you can't change or manipulate Shadow The Hedgehog.Silver is just a hero's journey, a guy who saves the world but sacrifices his friend.And Last Story is a tribute to Sonic as a character, and it's all kind of bittersweet.
