Pic unrelated, Blue Shift was okay.

it was not and it had the most anticlimactic ending of all half-life games(maybe all games in general)

Still, it was far from a true disaster.

>Guy trying to escape an alien invasion
>Work his way up to escape the entire game
>He escapes
What's the problem exactly?

I'm always saddened Duke and Caleb never got the Doom 2016 treatment.

It's a solid 6/10. The main issue is that Blue Shift is just super forgettable. Opposing Force at least has fun squad mechanics and a shit-ton of unbalanced weapons to play around with.

I consider it a part of the Half-Life trilogy and I replay it every year as the last "episode".
>Half Life, the Black Mesa disaster through the eyes of a scientist
>Opposing Force, the Black Mesa disaster through the eyes of a marine
>Blue Shift, the Black mesa disaster through the eyes of a security guard
I love how all three are the same events but in different areas of the base and slightly connect with each other.
